Please, tell me more, i want to know.

I, uhh, can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic, so I'll assume serious for now.

Yeah, I've got 25+ years experience in the Martial Arts and in my early twenties I was on my way to taking a run at the MMA pro circuit. I was getting guidance by a guy who fought in the local UFC-stuff (not actual UFC bouts, but from these amateur rings they pulled guys to join the real UFC) in between football seasons (he was college football, with some hope of going pro in the NFL).
But when I was starting to work my way into the amatuear league I suffered a debilitating ankle injury in a sparing match. Real stupid thing, too, I did a lunging punch and lost my balance and my heel touched the side of my calf. I damaged the bone marrow and couldn't afford surgery to fix it, so it took me 4 years to heal.
Even now I'm only at about 60-80% of my ankle's function, almost ten years later, and I'm also fat and out of shape because I went from 8 hours a day of heavy labor factory work and 3-5 hours a day of martial arts training, to a desk job and not seeing the inside of a dojo for more than 5 years.
My wife is younger than I am and she goes off and on with training to get into the Women's UFC (we met in the aforementioned dojo). But honestly her biggest issue is that we can't afford a pro coach and with my ankle I just can't keep up with her to keep pushing her to the top. So she stumbles in her training and falls off the wagon for a couple months, then gets back into it and I just reach my limit quicker than she does - plus the inclusion of time restraints since we both work full time jobs (and I do tons of hours of freelance work on the side, too) limits our workout chances.

On topic though, I didn't have high hopes for For Honor when it was first announced but after seeing the gameplay stuff, particular still in Alpha mode, I'm starting to acquire some faith in the game. I had always hoped it would be good, but figured it would probably suck. Now I'm thinking it might at least be playable, if not a bit repetitive (the Viking Raider backhands like seven guys in that five-minute video). Kind of reminds me of a more technical version of Dynasty Warriors so far.

I feel like they are just doing the same thing as Microsoft with "Young Conker".

It's over, Sony won E3. I mean come on, a Spiderman game, made by Insomniac, with Spidey himself being played by Yuri Lowenthal isn't even close to the highlight of the night? It's done, it's over, that's game set match, again. Total rating for this show was a 9.5/10, easy. I missed when it was live because of work but I just finished watching it and I can't believe what I just saw, even the VR wasn't that bad. I remember now why I love games so much, and it's largely thanks to Sony.

I love the design of Crash here. Judging by the looks of things here. They took him back to his very first design from the PS1 days(but given it a more 'animated' look here in Skylanders)

So uhm, if you haven't played the RE:7 demo yet, be sure you do. It was amazingly scary. I'm so stoked for Resident Evil 7 now.

As usual, Sony won by default. Everyone else just wasn't trying, and if they were. Shame on them.

Microsoft showed some great PC titles. Shame there were no Xbox Exclusives. We Happy Few looks pretty good, everything else ranged from "meh" (Forza) to "eh i'll play it i guess" (Re:Core, Scalebound, Halo Wars). It was quite forgettable in general. Shame really, Microsoft could've done a lot more.

Nintendo showed two games we knew they were going to show, and nothing more. Could've really showed some more games this E3 to be honest, or at least something new.

Sony won by default just because they're the only ones trying. Detroit looked cool and I'm hoping it is just a better version of Heavy Rain, God of Us 2: The Last War looks interesting, same with "insert funny last of us reference for days gone here". It's all about how they play in the end. Uh...Horizon: Zero Dawn might be fun. At this point it's hard to really give opinions on the games, especially with sony's lies. RE:7 was a big shock, VR as well. Wonder how that's gonna turn out.

That Kojima game will be cool, no matter what. Can't wait for it.

And that's about all I can remember about E3 that was important. Oh, and Persona 5.

Ever Oasis looks pretty good, but I don't expect we'll get anything new from Nintendo until TGS, or they'll have a direct in the fall, or if we're lucky, sometime in September since they have no release dates for anything past that month.

Sony won though, easy. Xbox was fine but honestly after watching Sony, it looked worse than it did when it happened. Here's hoping Gamecom and Paris Games week are better for everyone else. Seriously, Abzu and Crash Remastered are enough to beat everyone else.

Honestly I'm fine with the no exclusives. I mean, we should be past the point of "my console is better because it has more exclusives. Because of Microsoft embracing PC gaming, games like: Rocket League, Killer Instinct, Forza etc now have a much bigger and healthy community. This is only a good thing. It doesn't lessen the enjoyment you have out of owning an Xbox One because those games are still available. It's about time someone made a mature move than using the "I'm keeping the toys to myself and therefore I am better".

Can't really say which one I preferred though. It was more of a win for the consumer than any individual company.

I'd agree but console exclusive's have been winning companies generations thereby keeping them in business since Sonic had to compete with Mario and lost. Without exclusive's, your brand dies, plain and simple.

True but I Sonic didn't lose due to SEGA not having exclusives. It was due to the way they handled their hardware. I don't we have any statistics to show that any company that doesn't have exclusives would die. In most case (Pretty much Nintendo), any company that solely relies on exclusives results in being at the bottom at the generation.

Even though it's kinda off topic, I just wanna say that as a big fan of Sega. The downfall of them came from Sega of Japan's being Japanese and incompetent along with Sega of America's terrible read of the gaming market, wayyyyy to much innovation, giving Sony the specs to the original Playstation, the 32x and Saturn in general and DVD player gimmicks from Sony.

There's tons more, but those are the big factors.
