Yeah... this isn't going to work, specially considering that instant social media in general is a mistake.
When you have a platform that not only allows, but ENCOURAGES reactive posts you'll always end up with the same bullshit that has already ruined twitter (because who wants to be commenter no 777 when you can be no 1? Right?). The short message length, and the mindless habits it instills, doens't help either.
Screw any social media solution that hinders thoughtful discussion and favors the vapid.

spez recently released a follow up regarding the CSS and redesign post from a few weeks back.
Basically, spez confirmed that because of the recent feedback of the community, the Reddit admins will not remove CSS. Good to see that they still care for the site.
Also, happy 120th anniversary to Bram Stoker's Dracula!

So I recently found out that Matt Furie released a kickstarter in order to "resurrect PePe".
I mean sure.... because it worked so well when the Cincinnati Zoo wanted to stop the Harambe memes, amirite??
All he is going to do is to add more fuel to the fire. People who has spent the last year saying all Pepe memes are hate speech aren't going to change their minds, someone who doesn't know what Pepe is will just google it and find the /pol/ version, and people who still like Pepe despite all the shitstorm surrounding the character are just going to give his new stuff the Sarah's Scribbles treatment.
In other words, Pepe no longer belongs to Matt, it belongs to the Internet now.

By the by, I'm seeing a lot of signatures being ruined due to Photobucket being dicks, so if you want a quick and reliable uploading site to use for signatures and what not, use http://postimg.org
Not trying to advertise here or anything (but if I am breaking rules, then can a mod remove the link), just giving a heads up to people who don't want to upgrade their accounts, and just want a quick solution.
