The Monkees, one of the biggest selling bands of the 60s from the good ole U.S.A, released a song in 1967 called "Randy Scouse Git". Now, Davy Jones of the band was originally British. The song's title actually is derived from an insult for people from Liverpool. (Randy=Horny, Scouse=Someone from Liverpool, Git=Bastard)
Now who happened to be from Liverpool? Oh yeah, their rivals, The Beatles. The song describes being at a party with The Beatles. All of the symbolism and slang in the song was completely lost on American audiences, but not on Brits. So, the song was released under the name "Alternate Title" in Britain.
Take a listen.

Did you know that Bill and Tedd were meant to go thru time on a Chevy Van. However, the directors thought this would seem like a rip off of Back To The Future, so it was changed to a phone booth.
Yea, like that's not ripping anything off.

Ke$ha apparently has a taste in music that does not fit her style very well. There have two examples of her shoing herself a fan of or even ripping off the famed underground group, The Residents.
Case A is here:
Duck Stab was one the most famous albums The Residents have ever released. And she was wearing this shirt in an MTV spot. How about we take a listen to one of the songs off of Duck Stab?
Anyone else surprised that a famed pop star would publicly show her support of this? So am I.
Case two happened at a live show, when Ke$ha played a show using backup dancers wearing giant eyeballs and tuxedos, the costume The Resident's have used onstage since 1979. Check the video.
As compared to this:
Pretty sure that this is not a coincidence.

This is the only song The Beatles recorded outside of the U.K in English. It was recorded in Paris, France on January 29, 1964. That same day, they also recorded "She Loves You" and "I want to Hold Your Hand" in German.

Why does this exist? It's not like Shaq Fu radiates cancer 24/7; it's just a game, and this mission is dumb. Even bad games have a reason to exist. Just look at the people who take this mission seriously:

Ok this will take a little time to explain. It's going to be cheesy but hang with me.
OK, this is the Buzz Lightyear commercial from Toy Story.
The list of actions the toy can do:
Karate Chop Action
Laser Beam
Voice Simulator
Space Wings
Did you know that all of the toys we got do not have all these features. Think about the one you got as a kid. It most likely had the laser, wings and voice. Most of the toy did not include the Karate Chop Action much to my disappointment. This is because the toy would have to be much bigger and more advance to have every singe one of these. To have the Karate chop, you would have to get rid of the wings. I think it's the wires that prevent it from happening.

Sometimes, songs could not be released at any WORSE time. Perhaps one of the best examples of that was Altered Images first single "Dead Pop Stars". It was released mere days before the brutal murder of John Lennon.
British listeners immediatly assumed the song was about his death, and plainly put, it doesn't put aging pop stars in a good light. So, the song caused quite a controversy with people believing the band was making fun of one of the most famous figures in modern music's history's right after his death. In song, no less. This actually couldn't have been further from the truth. In the end, the band decided not to put it on their first album.
Anyways, take a listen:
Here's a second fact about a funny band with superstition that WORKED, but to save space, I'll spoiler it.
Styx was in a rut in 1977. They had released 6 albums, but had only had one random hit in 1974 of their second album with the track "Lady", which had went gold. Any way, they wanted success again and were willing to try anything.
So, on 7-7-77, the band released their 7th album, with 7 original tracks on it. (An 8th track was on the album, but it was a mash up of two of their other previous songs).
And guess what? That album was "The Grand Illusion". It became their biggest hit at that point in time, becoming the first top ten album, with the top ten hit "Come Sail Away". The album would go triple platinum in the US, and was the first of four consecutive triple platinum albums for the band. They would become the first band to accomplish four consecutive triple platinum albums in the US.

ZZ Top was once offered over a million dollars to shave their beards for a Gillete commercial. They refused.
A Tennessee man on death row, in 2007, requested that he NOT be given a last meal and instead that the officers should buy a pizza and give it to the first homeless man they saw.
His request was denied.
Edit: Had to add this one. The personal journal entry of King George of England noted a simple sentence on July 4th, 1776.
"Nothing of any interest happened today". Besides the American colonies of being in the process of declaring independence, right? (Note, the actual signing and everything actually took SEVERAL days in early July, nor was independence for the United State of America even declared on the 4, but the date was chosen for the anniversary date instead of like the whole first week of July.)

I feel like posting some ridiculous information on the Street Fighter animated series and the American comics but I think it should be a thread of its own. The reason I'm not gonna post this stuff as trivia is because none of that really has to di with the games, only the inconsistencies with the characters in these iterations. I'll get to that soon-ish.
