What confuses me is how the US House of Representatives drew this law as a consequence of the Boston Bombings. Bullshit.
Apparently there's an Internet Blackout tomorrow.

Umm...aren't you forgetting it only passed through the house of representatives, it still has to go through the senate and president to become law, and can still be vetoed and shut down, it's not going to become law yet.

You didn't read his post very carefully - he clearly refers to "last Thrusday" which, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, is "A cyclical event that occurs every 27 years where a US bill can be enacted into law by the assent of only one house and without needing presidential assent."

As far as I'm aware, nope.

Remember, it still has to get passed Obama to actually become law. And as far as I'm aware, he plans on vetoing it anyways.

Which is funny, because several of my facebook friends (OK, I live in a county that around 80% of voters voted for Mitt Romney, not too many Obama fans around here), wrote extensive posts about how Obama is wiping his feet on the constitution by passing CISPA... *Sigh* Why even bother explaining.

CISPA is a false flag. What you really need to be on the lookout for is ANIDN.

First they try to monitor my guns, now they're trying to monitor my virtual guns. Next thing you know, they're gonna start monitoring my Second Life LARPer's foam items.

CISPA in Limbo thanks to Senate apathy.
