Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury series is the 4th DLC character in the Fighter Pass. 

That trailer was great. Reminds me of the Decapre trailer (USF4) in a good way.

EDIT 4: I know I'm late but you know how around 1:53 Mr. Sakurai mentions that Neo Geo arcade cabinets (or MVS) used to be pretty cheap and that they could hold multiple games at a time? That's the reason why KOF is so popular in Latin America. Because of both of these factors, SNK arcade cabinets were pretty much everywhere.

Also, there's a translation error when Mr. Sakurai talks about Mai Shiranui's abscense. Yes, the "good boys and girls" joke was also in Japanese but there's some missing key context to the joke. Here's the original line in Japanese:

残念ながらスマブラってのは良い子のCeroAなので、（笑）出すことができませんでした。お許し下さい!

'Unfortunately Smash is for good boys and girls, rated E for Everyone, so we could not have her show up. Please forgive me!'

The official translation makes it sound like Sakurai didn't put the character in Ultimate just because he didn't want to, when in reality it was because of CERO. In other words, don't blame Masahiro Sakurai. Blame CERO.

"But what about Bayonetta?" - Bayonetta was censored in Smash.

"But what about Shulk? One of his alternate costumes in Smash is him wearing nothing but underwear!" - Because CERO is run by hypocrites, that's why. They think Shulk in his underwear is fine but somehow Mai Shiranui is too much.

Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the final character for this season pass. 

Needless to say, many people were PISSED about the announcement, even some FE fans. I have the feeling that Sakurai did this on purpose. 

My condolences to those who were expecting Dante from the Devil May Cry series.

As for myself, my reaction was actually the same as Arlo's: "oh no" *laughs*

Ok, so for the first costume instead of saying Assasin's Creed they say Altaïr? I mean, yeah, that's the character's name. But why do they refuse to mention the series name, which is Assasin's Creed?

So I checked that same trailer in other channels/regions (Nintendo UK, Nintendo Japan, etc) and they ALL say Assasin's Creed. NOA is the only one who says Altaïr instead. Censorship much?

A: It does make sense, actually.

For starters, Hideaki Itsuno said in February of last year that before Dante gets in Smash we need a DMC game on the Switch. A couple of months later a port for DMC1 was announced, followed by DMC2 and now the upcoming DMC3 port.

Not only that, but Capcom told us to keep an eye on January 16th because there was some DMC related announcements. January 16th was also the date of the Smash direct. Sure, it turned out to be nothing more than a huge coincidence, but you can't blame people for believing.
