I gotta wonder if all this Rage 2 content means that it won't be at E3, or if we'll get a story trailer at best. This whole set-up for Rage 2 is weird.

It would make more sense if we got a new Diddy kong racing over a star fox racing game.

Kingdom Hearts III is getting an embargo dropped before E3 and people are going to be attending an event in California on the 18th: https://gematsu.com/2018/05/kingdom-hear...ing-may-18

Someone I know through Twitch is going to this event so if she shares or can share any information that is not made public, assuming I have permission to talk about it, I will inform you all about what I can.

I think a lot of this was going to happen closer to E3 as a sort of build up to the reveal, but the Wallmart leaks kind of forced them to do it sooner.

Apparently the leak had nothing to do with it: https://www.dualshockers.com/bethesdas-p...l-listing/

It makes it even weirder still when you consider this.

Maybe the just don't consider RAGE 2 a "big-hitter" for E3? I mean if Bethesda's E3 is supposed to be "the biggest ever" and they still revealed RAGE 2 prior to it, it makes me wonder how many games they're gonna have to show.

According to several sources, Pokémon Switch is going to be a remake of Pokémon Yellow with two versions: One with Pikachu as your partner and one where Eevee is your partner. Connectivity between these games and Pokémon GO is going to be prominent, you can even get in-game rewards by connecting the two. Capturing Pokémon is also going to work like it does in Pokémon GO, rather than the traditional system. There is also going to be an online hub for players to interact. An announcement is supposedly on the horizon as the game is set to be revealed this month prior to E3, so we don't have to wait long to see if there's any truth to this.

Looks like these games are really happening, guys.

At this point the only way it's not real is if Nintendo is planning something with these games at a later time and not as the first Switch Pokemon title, which seems pretty unlikely. While I'm not surprised they are remaking the first gen for Pokemon's first main series home console game, I would have preferred Gold and Silver or a remake that has two versions of the game on it. Like say the Yellow remake with Pikachu has Pokemon Blue on it, and the one with Eevee has red. Main series Pokemon Yellow is very short so unless they add it a lot, only having these two different versions is kind of disappointing.

I hope the traditional catching method is still an option. I really didn't like a lot of the changes Sun and Moon made, and Yellow's one of my favorite entries.

What happened in Sun and Moon?

That's what I'm wondering honestly. I played both versions of the original Sun and Moon, and one version of the Ultra games, and catching Pokemon seems to be the same as always. There were a few gimmicks to get certain Pokemon, but nothing we haven't seen in previous games before.

I just didn't care for the tutorials and a lot of the ways the game was made easier is all. Didn't mean to indicate this as being about the catching system. I just wanna play Pokemon Yellow modernized.

Nintendo's E3 Presentation is going to be called "Nintendo Direct: E3 2018"
*gasp*

EDIT: Nintendo seems to have removed the "Nintendo Direct: E3 2018" branding from the Nintendo Treehouse description.
