Your First Console
#16
My ever-enterprising brother sold me his GBA for £70 when I was about 6 or 7. The swine.

The first console that was ever truly mine and not someone else's beforehand was my GameCube. It still remains my favourite console.

The first console I owned was the old Gameboy, and I loved it. I used to always play Super Mario Land 2.

However, the first console I ever bought with my own money was my PS3, which I bought about two years ago.

My first family console was the N64/ Megadrive, I'm not entirely sure. I used to play CoolSpot Adventure with my dad on the Megadrive and I used to watch my brother playing Ocarina of Time and Mario 64.

My first personal console was the GameCube bundled with Sonic Adventure 2 and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. These two games are in my top 5 games of all time, both for nostalgia and the fact that they are as fun as fun itself.

Believe it or not, my household didn't own any consoles until I got a Wii in 2008. I did get to play on another Wii and a PS2 at friends' houses, and of course, we had a PC. I had this cute thing that looked like a GBA SP at one stage before the Wii, but it was monochrome and the only games for it were the 26 pre-installed games, half of which were variations of Tetris. It's long since lost, and I would love to have it back.

Pffffff real men had the 1000-in-1 handheld gaming devices with... three games... just repeated over and over again.

I believe mine would be my mom's NES. But the first one that I really consider mine would be the PS2.

The first console that I played was a Super Nintendo round my mates house it was the most fun I ever had however the first real console that I ever owned was a Sega Mega Drive and we (me and my brother) had a really great time playing sonic on it however I don't really recall so many memories of it. Which leads up to the GBC. That is the one that I had so many many memories with and there still fresh in my mind so I would say the GBC is the first console/handheld whatever you want to call it that I ever got and that I truly remember. :D

My dad taught me how to play on the computer at a very young age. I don't remember, but there are pictures of me playing this Pooh Bear game that had an interactive bear. After that I started playing Put-Put, Pajama Sam, and Freddie Fish. In terms of a TV console, I got a SNES for Christmas when I was about 5 that came with Super Mario and Rocky Rodent.

I had the original Playstation. Remember playing an original Rayman game on that thing. Good times.

Not old enough to have anything earlier.

Definitely had to be my dad's Atari. All I would play was Pitfall.
