Cosplay and Costuming

Yeah, it definitely felt like it was missing... Something. Part of it, though, is the flash on my camera. When it was dark, it looked a bit more sickly, and less ghostly, but it does need green, or brown. Not just gray.

If there's some dull brown or green powder you could use before applying the white, that'd probably do it. People who are good with make-up, please intervene before I make Newt look stupid, thank you.

That had to be at least 5 years ago or so.

Das me, guy.

I've always wondered if I should cosplay, but I don't know what as.

I sort of look like very generic main character of anything that involves conflict, and looking dirty, such as Rick from WD, and Snake from MGS.

Still, I'm going comic con in a week or so, so I might do something then.

I want to for real cosplay someday, but I can't afford the nice wigs/fabrics/sewing machine/everything else that I would need.

I've always wanted to cosplay as something and it shouldn't be that hard. I got someone to sow a costume for me and a person to help with the props. I just need the money. I also wanted to do a group thing where me and my friends were from the same game/anime. I almost had a group but my friend did not want to be Kairi in my Kingdom Hearts group.

One Halloween we're going to do it. One of my friends is really tall so me and another friend are totally going to dress him up as Slenderman and follow him around as Masky and Hoody.

I call Masky.

There's a fantastic game called Five Days a Stranger you should check out. Anyways. In the third game of the series, "Trilby's Notes" the major antagonist looks JUST like Slenderman.(Some say the idea of Slenderman drew inspiration from Trilby's Notes) Only, in my opinion, slightly more badass, because he has a wicked scythe of death. And the main antagonist of the first game is the Welder.

The main character, Trilby, has my length of hair.(Well. Used to. My hair is a little too long, now.) Cabadath, the anatgonist of Trilby's Notes, is incredibly tall... My brother... is incredibly tall(compared to me.) and my brother's friend has a Welder costume from a convention he went to a while ago. PERFECT COSPLAY TRIO.

The one on the left is Cabadath. If you Google Cabadath, you'll see a lot of fan art of him fighting Slendy.

Played through that whole series, even Trilby: The Art of Theft, back in highschool. One of my favorite game series ever. It was so good that I went and played every single other game made by Mr. Croshaw too.

I do agree, the first time I ever saw Slenderman in something online, I immediately thought of the tall man. To be honest I didn't even remember he had a name.

I think they only called him Cabadath once, and it was when he was still human. The Tall Man doesn't really have a name. He's just The Tall Man, I think. I'm in your boat. I haven't played since High School. I barely remember the series at all these days.

Hmm... This calls for a new playthrough! I've been wanting to LP at least the first game so that would be a good chance to start.
