Good. I hate Emma now and the Gavins would only remind me that streaming pile of waste called Apollo Justice exists.

That's nice.
I enjoyed the Gavins.
Ema I didn't care much for.
And I liked Apollo Justice.

People complain that the game play doesn't change much between each Phoenix Wright game but personally I never minded one bit. Everything new in Apollo Justice just annoyed. Besides the perceive system none of the new characters were tolerable and I actually can't even replay it because it enrages me so much. I still can't believe they actually made Phoenix just a jerk in that game and I hope so much that Trucy doesn't have much of a role in the new game. I wanted to slap every time she said "panties" in that one case.

So yeah... Just for me personally Apollo was the worst decision the creators ever made ><

Phoenix was originally not supposed to be in that game, which is why there's practically nobody else familiar in Apollo Justice. But Capcom insisted to have Phoenix in and he had to be added rather haphazardly. (And to be fair, if you lost your DREAM JOB, wouldn't you be a little jaded too?) Yeah, it's still sloppy, but it could've been handled much worse.

And I have to be honest, I think we should be thankful that we're even getting a digital-only release. It sucks to not have a physical copy, but realizing it now, I think there are two reasons why Capcom of Japan didn't go with it:

1) Capcom of America may have fought tooth and nail to get it a digital only release. Vice President Svensson said, "I understand that this decision may upset fans who wanted to have a physical version of the title to add to their collection but we believe this direction is the best to take." Considering how ass backwards Capcom of Japan has been for months, I think this was the best they could convince them to do and rocking that boat further might cause more trouble than it's worth. Worse yet, if the physical copies becomes a pricey expenditure and the income doesn't make up for that, Capcom might pull the plug on Phoenix again.

2) Ace Attorney Investigations actually bombed in America and Europe. While Japan sold 300,000 units, America sold only 180,000 units. You think a game starring Edgeworth would've gotten the fans to get all over it, but it didn't. And that's why AAI2 and PWvPL didn't come here. At the end of the day for companies, it comes down to how many people would want the game and according to AAI sales, it seemed like the USA started to lose interest in Phoenix Wright. Translation and localization is costly, even if the game is completely text-based.

So yeah, in conclusion, I'm just glad it's coming here at all. I think if we buy the hell out of AA5, Capcom will be on board with selling more AA games in America and Europe... maybe even get AAI2 over here if we really show our support.

The second game is pretty good, but you need to play it just to play the third game, which is perfection for me~

Here is the order of how I like the games: Miles Edgeworth AI, Phoenix Wright T&T, Apollo Justice AA, PW AA, PW JFA.

I did not like Justice for All nearly as much as any of the other games.

My list is really similar to yours, but I have Apollo Justice at the end. I actually never finished Apollo Justice. I just didn't like any of the characters, and for me, the characters make the game as awesome as it is.

You have to get through the first 2 episodes to really enjoy the characters IMO. I mean Episode 1 shows Payne as an a hole as usual, you also have the judge being silly and the witnesses all being awesome with the introduction to perceiving. Episode 2 is actually my least favorite because the defendant is such a douche nugget. I do have to admit Stickler is hilarious and his statements are the best. Episode 3 is my favorite just because of how detailed they made everything work in that case. The final episode I have mixed feelings on but it is really nice on how it finishes.

AJ is not a bad game or anything like that, you just do not see AS many old characters in this game then you would see in the other games. Also Apollo is sort of a dunce at first but he grows I promise.

As I said before, it was originally supposed to have an entirely new cast, but Capcom insisted to have Phoenix on there in some way.

I thought it was interesting how Phoenix Wright got there. I liked Ema as well as Mike Meekins being in this one as well. Well okay no Ema was very grumpy in every episode and her snacks got annoying fast. Gumshoe makes a quick appearance in the final case but it's just a small one.

Shoot... I keep forgetting someone uploaded this! I really need to watch this when I have a day off:

...Some of these characters look soooo stupid as real people. I just wish they'd used the same girl who played Maya in the musical. She was super adorable and fit the character perfectly. Heck, all the ladies did an amazing job! The gal was was cast as Larry really had fun with the part.
