Phoenix Wright related
#61
Because of how the second Edgeworth game and the latest Phoenix Wright game were handled I find that I don't care about this series anymore. I haven't even downloaded the newest game because I want a physical copy.

There is always Phoenix Wright vs Professor Layton.

Admittedly, it's about 70% investigation, 30% courtroom but it's still good.

Actually... Now that they are making this Ace Attorney Trilogy maybe there's a chance for an Ace Investigations Double Pack? One can only hope.

Nah, they fucked up big time with that.

The fan translation is like 99% done, if they released it as a double pack it'd just piss people off more since they spent so long translating it for free, and then Capcom just do it and give it out digitally.

I would still buy it.

Oh yeah, I'd buy it too. But it's still piss off a lot of people who worked on the game and awaited it, only to get it three years later when they could've done it back in 2011 or so.

Wright's ancestor will be clashing wits with the great detective Sherlock Holmes himself. There will be Watson too, who apparently is an 8-year-old girl and the author of Holmes' autobiography.

Yeah, it's great. Now we now it'll be translated for sure since it'll be set in London instead of Japanifornia.

This is semi-related in that it used Phoenix Wright as a means to recreate this skit from some comedy show I don't know about but it is still funny. Enjoy.....a boot to the head.

It warms my heart that not only is this thread still a thing, but that Phoenix Wright is still current. Last I heard about Layton is that Lvl 5 is focusing on mobile games...That seems pretty big in Japan so, yeah, buckle up your seatbelts cause it will be bumpy and uncomfortable and there will probably be no potty breaks from the next 70-90 miles.

Also Layton vs Wright was more of an introductory game for both games combined into one.
The cases were easy and the puzzles had endless do-overs and zero hidden puzzles.

It was a fantastic game, do not get me wrong, but many people criticize the game from the lack of difficulty.
Still fun.

I realized I had not actually watched that trailer Retro had posted. Now I'm even more psyched for the game!

And now that I saw the trailer. Want!
And dangit, ANOTHER Payne relative was seen near the end.
WHEN WILL THEY LEAVE US ALONE!
