Waaaait wait wait... What's wrong with Ninja Gaiden?
The game is relentlessly difficult for two reasons.
1.Enemy's respawn whenever you kill them.
2.Enemies will keep pushing you to death.
Have you like beated Ninja Gaiden? I love to see that!
I got to the second to last boss, if I remember correctly. Then I gave up after trying to beat him for hours and restarting the level every time. I have beaten all the new NG games, though.

I put difficulty in that, catering to casuals is one of the best ways to ruin a game. Street Fighter X Tekken and Skyward Sword being two of the biggest offenders of this.

E.g. Conker's Other Bad Fur Day, Donkey Kong Racing, Epic Mickey III to name a few.
For Epic Mickey, on January 29th 2013, it was announced that Junction Point Studios (the makers of the Epic Mickey series) was being closed. Plus, Epic Mickey 2 didn't sell all too well, so even if Junction Point Studio wasn't closed, It still probably wouldn't get a sequel.
For DK Racing, about the time the game was being made (2002), Rare was bought by Microsoft. Microsoft also canceled some games that Rare was working on to focus on Xbox.
Conker's Other Bad Fur Day, although I couldn't find anything solid on it, It was originally rumored in 2002, and 6 years later the game was canceled. It was probably canceled like Ura Zelda, a lack of motivation.
I would only want Conker's Other Bad Day and DK Racing. Never played Epic Mickey, But I'll hopefully be getting it soon.

Time for GM's USELESS KNOWLEDGEe-cookie for anyone who get the reference
Though you are correct about DK Racing, it was not scraped competently after the Microsoft Buy-out. The game's engine was moved to another game entitled Sabreman Stampede. The game was being ported over to the X-box and possably the 360, up until the people on the Sabreman team were put onto the Kameo Team and the game was canceled.
SOOOO yea. That happened and we did not get two game we (kinda) wanted. But at lest we got Kameo, Right!? ...... Right?
I liked the game.

Having to play through a shitty minigame in order to go somewhere or get an item you really need. Specifically, in the Pokemon DS games.
What's that? You need to get a stone in order to evolve one of the key members of your team? BETTER PLAY A FUCKING COIN FLIPPING MINIGAME FIFTY TIMES!
I liked it in Red and Blue where you could just buy that stuff.

I've never played it, but I hear that the digging mini-games in Okami are a pain in the ass. You play them like 6 different times to advance in the game and they are never fun. That's what I have heard anyway.

The only Pokemon mini-game I remember is the berry blender from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and I think it's fun.

There's poffins as well in Diamond and Pearl.
Plus I suppose you could consider the ribbons as minigames,
and Black and White have the theatre.

Well, if you haven't played Ghost Recon Future Soldier, that game's multiplayer is the most lopsided thing I have ever seen. Two matches in a row just now, no one is my team talked, no one in my team other than I played Engineer (intel), no one got a kill the first round, and both times I ended up with a team of all snipers or assault with absolutely no idea what they're doing, fighting against organized Russian teams of murder.

The thing is, you don't really need to talk in order to get the best team in the world. You just need a group of people that can pull the others and that know what they're doing.

Oh.
When backtracking in RPG's (Either for fun, or plot) and you meet lower level enemies.
And STILL have to go through the entire GIGANTIC fight woosh.

You don't need to but if your team communicates well, you're already better off. We were pinned in our spawn.

More games should make like Earthbound did. What that game did was just common sense and it was one of a kind, basically, lol.
