Dear Luong: please wreck me with your beautiful legs, thank you.

Nelson, Terry an Iori. Mainly because I used Iori on anchor in KoFXIII with Terry on point and Robert in second. But no Robert here :(

What if I told you that Robert was confirmed two months ago?

Been a good month for fighting games. Pokken Tournament, Street Fighter March update and Killer Instinct Season 3. Played so much of Killer Instinct season 3. Really liking the new cast and I can't wait for Raam from Gears of War to make his appearance.
Yep...he is in the game:

Currently playing Alex in SFV. Good character. Very fun.

In other big news, there was a recent discovery for Smash.

King of Fighters XIV 10th trailer reveals Geese Howard & Ryo Sakazaki!

Notice at 0:19 in the trailer, Fatal Fury Team member Joe Higashi gets countered by Geese. Joe Higashi hasn't been confirmed as a playable character in KOF14 until now... so we'll probably see him in the near future showing his stuff. Next trailer maybe?

And while we are at it... here's a friendly reminder that KOF is a crossover fighting game. Not only does it feature characters from the Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting series, but also characters from more obscurse games such as Ikari Warriors and Psyco Soldier + some brand new characters like Kyo and Iori added into the mix. KOF takes place in a parallel reality to that seen in the Art of Fighting/Fatal Fury series. This is apparent considering (among other things) that Geese died in the hands of Terry during Real Bout Fatal Fury (a.k.a Fatal Fury 4 in terms of continuty, the rest of the "Real Bout" games are dream matches), while in the KOF series Geese is alive and well.

In Fatal Fury Geese Howard died, while in KOF he's still alive. It's that simple.

Ikari Warriors is obscure nowadays? What a world we live in...

To be fair, a lot of people were oblivious about Ralf Jones and Clark Steel's humble origins until the AVGN did a video on the subject.

Guilty Gear 2: Overture Now Available on Steam for $11.99

Here's a little of backstory: Guilty Gear 2: Overture was an obscure "action / real time strategy" spin-off title made Arc System Works exclusively for Xbox 360 back in 2007. The story is set 5 years after the first Guilty Gear fighting game. GGXrd's Sin Kiske also made his first appearance in the title. If your a fan of Guilty Gear lore, this might be a worthy pickup.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Whoa. Haggar's in this? That's a pretty big deal, this will be his debut in the Street Fighter franchise as a playable character, if that is what this means. If not... Well, the updated pictures are pretty damn cool anyway.

Skullgirls: 2nd Encore Coming to Playstation Vita on April 5th: this version  is cross-buy, so owners of the PS4 version will receive the Vita version for free; also, here's a friendly reminder that 2nd Encore includes all 5 DLC characters, fully-voiced story mode, new challenges, trials & survival mode, plus trophy support. The title also features cross-play with PS4/PS3 versions.

Here's the launch trailer:

Lab Zero also recently mentioned that the "final" patch for Skullgirls will be released soon. The update will update battle lobbies with a new "All Play" mode, enabling players in large lobbies to connect and fight amongst themselves instead of having to wait in line.
