Fighting Games
The newcomer G and the beloved veteran Sagat are the latest addition to the Street Fighter V roster.

PlayStation Blog US Wrote:G, the Man of Mystery, is perhaps the most elusive character to be added to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. As the self-proclaimed “President of the World,” he suddenly appeared vowing to unite the citizens of Earth under his name. Although he is initially ignored, Rashid agrees with G’s cause and sets off to spread his message. Who is G? Are these his true intentions? Is G even human? There’s much more to him than meets the eye…

In a fiery move set that hints at his true nature, G is able to draw power from the Earth to improve his “Presidentiality.” With every level his Presidentiality increases, his special moves become stronger and new combos are unlocked. Being able to charge up in the midst of a fight is vital in G’s game plan as his Presidentiality will decrease when he’s knocked down. With magma, Earth energy, and a penchant for giving speeches, G is a character who should not be taken lightly.

PlayStation Blog US Wrote:Bow down before Sagat, the Solitary King, for his arrival beckons your attention! Sagat first appeared as the final boss in the original Street Fighter and has become a fan-favorite ever since. His main goal? To become the strongest fighter in the world. After his fight and subsequent defeat by Ryu, he vows to one day win in a fair fight against the man who gave him his trademark scar. In Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Sagat has been in hiding in the mountains to overcome his inner demons of self-worth.

Sagat’s move set remains true to his previous appearances with his signature Tiger Shot, Tiger Uppercut, and Tiger Knee Crush. Known as a master of keeping opponents away, Sagat utilizes his two versions of Tiger Shot to control the ground and Tiger Uppercut to control the air. He makes up for his slower speed by having long-reaching moves, just like the Sagat you know and admire.

So, what do you think of G and Sagat's characters stories?

G character story: eh. They pretty much revealed nothing outside of his "social media" side. I am going to assume they showed next to nothing about him because they are saving it for later (second general story mode, perphas?).

Oh, and contrary to what Menat said The Fool card in the tarot desk does not stand for someone with low intelligence, but rather someone with infinite potential or a "wildcard". This mistake isn't really surprising giving how inexpirienced Menat is, but still.

EDIT: here's another thing. Menat never said she fought the Dictador in the Japanese version.

Sagat's character story: his story was ok. It was interesting to see Sagat finally understanding all the pain the Satsui no hado has brought to Ryu's life. Hopefully this serves as a build-up for a Final Fight (heh) between Ryu and Sagat. I'll like to see their rivarly getting the close-up it deserves.

Oh, and the reason why Sagat was struggling with the SNH (even if it was for a very brief moment) was because the type of Ki he uses is the Hado energy, the same one used by the Ansatsuken users like Ryu and Ken (even thought Sagat is a Muay Thai fighter). His Tiger Shot in particular is described in older material as a Thai-styled Hadoken.

"regular" Hado, Satsui no Hado, Soul Power, Psycho Power... It all comes from the same source: Ki. The difference is how you harness said energy.

ey people who actually play fighting games, can you name any Fighting Game characters that use Guns and are generally considered sorta low tier? Writing a goofy article and could use a little help.

No to my knowledge, no. All the "gun fighters" that I know of are mid-tier or high-tier.

I am sorry that I couldn't help you in this one.

I'm pretty sure Jacks in Tekken have been universally seen as bad, and they should have guns since at least Tekken 3 what with "Gunjack".

Soul Calibur 3 Tira is going to be the latest addition to the Soul Calibur VI roster.

She is going to be the Eliza of SCVI in the sense that if you pre-order the game you'll get her for free, otherwise she'll be DLC.

TEKKEN 7 Season 2 Gets New Customizations, Including Summer Lesson & TEKKEN World Tour Costumes

This may be the most elaborate theory connecting G, Q and the Street Fighter world postulating the gold wielder may be the primordial man and a demon

The title sounds like clickbait but trust me, it's not.
