The 2DS look stupid but to be honest i hardly use the 3D feature on my 3DS the only games i legit use it on Mario kart 7 and Super mario 3D Land

I was actually laughing to myself while watching the video, but If I had extra money I would possible by this, because I don't have a handheld and it's much cheaper than the 3DS.

Well... it looks kinda unwieldy but I suppose the price point is a nice incentive for those who don't have a 3DS. Since I already do, this news is rather pointless to me, but I won't try to deter anyone from it; the 3D honestly hardly works for me anyway.

The design looks ok....but I have no idea how this thing can be maintained. I mean its fair for the GBA because of its size and the SP was foldable as well as the DSes. But if something that looks big for a six year old, how can it even be maintained by that kid?

Also why didn't they do this for one of the old dses?

Because of this and the fact that I already have a 3ds and ds lite, I'm not gonna bother getting this one because I anyway can switch of the 3d if its not needed. But I feel sorry for those who will miss the 3d if they get this one.

I hated the 3DS, made me sick the second you turned 3D on. I didn't even consider buying one SOLELY because of the 3D. So, Nintendo now has me curious.

In all honesty, I had no intention of even turning the 3D on when I bought the system. I mainly bought since it's the next step in Nintendos handheld line. It's a powerful system, with additional communication features and more to it that the previous handhelds. It's why I don't mind the 2DS because I couldn't care about 3D(even though it works great) and I don't know anyone that does use the 3D on the 3DS. I want a 2DS as a hardware collector, much like I did with the GameBoy Advance Micro.

....still doesn't take away the fact the 2DS is ugly as hell.

If they make a fold able version later on, I think I will actually get it.

It's the very definition of the video Klonoa posted. That's the whole irony of this 2DS product. We want the 2DS to be foldable, but if you want you the 2DS to be foldable, just turn the 3D off on you 3DS and ...well there.
*head explodes*

I swear, this huge oversight by Nintendo is bloody incredible.

Yeah... it's pretty clear this was made for small kids or causal gamers. Believe it or not, kids actually have the power to break the hinges, so that might be why it's completely flat. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's cheap because not only does it lack hinges, but the whole thing is one big touch screen; the top screen has a plastic cover over it to make it a regular screen.

I guess if you got a young kid or you're a giant cheap-ass, it could work as a selling point... but honestly, the 3DS was selling very well, this was not not necessary in the slightest. Not to mention, it looks like they used leftover Wii U tablet parts for this thing.
