A side by side comparison has been made of how the Batman TAS opening has looked compared to what they've done with it for the remastered version. It's honestly pretty amazing how clear and crisp the picture looks.

However... I'm wondering how it's going to affect the "feel" of the show. I'm used to it looking so "muddy" and blurry. For it to be this bright... It's going to be like an entirely new experience.

Thoughts?

I feel it could be like the Silent Hill Remasters where they took out the fog and bumped up the graphics and made it have a different feel because of it. However, watching the side-by-side, I don't really think that's going to be the case.

I'm not sure how many people here have seen this, but a group of 94 artists remade my favorite cartoon.

Some of the animation is alright and questionable, but I'd say not a bad video.

And for comparison.

I know two animators that I'm friends with, the scene my friend animated with the telegram man is a riot and better than what happened in the original.

This is really interesting and something I forgot about! Cartoon Network made a Scooby-Doo parody of the Blair Witch Project. Someone posted it and a someone who worked at CN at the time commented on it!

I am laughing so freaking hard. Sometimes 2D just does not translate to 3D at all.

This is one of the worst things I have EVER seen.

...you know? This crossover feels more natural than it should be.

Apologies for the late reply but yo, I actually forgot that used to be a thing! Man, watching those bumpers again takes me back...

Two months late, but happy 15th anniversary to My Life as a Teenage Robot! (MLAATR)

The new season of Castlevania was so effing good. Really taken by surprise on how well of a show it has become.

Honestly enjoyed the slow burn approach this time around, bumping it up to 8 episode instead of the 4 Episode from the first season. I don't want to spoil anything so if you haven't checked it out, now is about the time to do it.

So far, it's been a fantastic year for Castlevania.

I pretty much agree with this. I'm sick of people defending 'lazy' animation as a 'style' when in reality its just poorly done work.

Finally something good to look at CN that ISNT an anime wannabe show.

Remenber that "Batman vs TMNT" crossover comicbooks by DC & IDW? Well, they are making an animated feature based on that.

[obligatory "most ambitious crossover" joke]

One month late, but happy 10th anniversary to Hulk Vs! Hulk Vs. is a set of two direct-to-video films that include Hulk vs. Thor and Hulk vs. Wolverine.

EDIT (April): Happy 10th anniversary to Iron Man: Armored Adventures!
