Does G4 still exist? I thought they were going to change to something else.

They were but they never did for whatever reason and now just show reruns of the marvel anime shows, x-play, and cops.

They were supposed to become the Esquire network. Basically metrosexual men was the demographic, cooking and travel shows would have been the norm but yeah they didn't really do much of that. Go to the G4 News site and it is basically one guy talking about cooking crap than no one except pretty putzes would want.

I'm pretty sure Esquire's actually a channel but no one replaced anyone.

Well then they must have bought the network and either tried to replace the gaming related shows with both reruns of crappy shows no one wants to watch anymore and some of the crap I mentioned previously, or said fuck it and went with crappy reruns cause it is cheaper that way.

Pretty much where I stand. In my case just one. Adventure Time grew on me.

Eh, you have to put part of it to growing up. Another part would have to be attributed to budget cuts with the advent of internet television and video services. Another part would have to be attributed to a wish to appeal to older demographics but focusing on kids.

CN is a mixing pot of problems and desires, and that's not a bad thing.

Cartoon Network is a pit of tunnel vision aimed straight at old fashioned thinking. Girls, for example, don't count as a demographic when talking about shows like Young Justice and Green Lantern. Even if half their viewership was girls, they'd still not be considered an actual audience of the show. They think girls don't buy the toys for these shows so they don't market these toys for girls in any way, shape or form. Then they start missmanaging the show on the air as well, changing the airtime to a slot where the actual audience doesn't watch it and then cries fowl when the ratings go down.

^ That's really sad too. Thinking about it, Boys are the ones that by the super heroes, Transformers, Thundercats, and the like, while Girls are known to buy dolls and ponys. Can I ask what happened to the Powerpuff Girls in that Line of thinking. PPG was a female based show that both boys and girls liked. Talking from experiance I had one of the games and played it for a long time. and one of the toys that I loved to play with. If that does not convince them, look at My Little Pony, which has more male viewers than female.

I actually like quite a few shows on Cartoon Network. I'm not gonna go in detail which ones unless someone wants to know but yeah, there's some fun stuff on there still.

Times are changing, though. It seems that this note has started circulating McDonalds restaurants everywhere. Well, obviously slightly different per restaurant with the manager name and all but anyway.

This. All of this. I don't really think that something being a boy thing or a girl thing matters any more (or never really did in the first place and people want to think it did). I just hopes that people can see it like this soon.

Don't really care to ask, but it's nice that you can still find some entertainment from the network. I still think that CN has a few shows that are fun to watch. Nick on the other hand..........
When the reboot of TMNT is the best show to come out in 4 years, you know it has problums.

I just wish I had the channel still. I had it as a one month deal and when I started to think about getting a channel pack with it included the whole service provider went shit. Now I just have to watch the shows online from streaming sites like a total scrub.

To be honest, I actually like the new TMNT. A far cry better than the one they had on CW/WB Saturday morning block where the Shredder was actually the alien Krang in a robot body (what a twist!).

This has them both separate again where Shredder is human, Krang are still aliens, and the mutagen/ooze that made the Turtles came from the Krang aliens (they are all Krang apparently).

Voice acting is fantastic. They have Jason Biggs as Leo, Sean Astin as Raph, Donny is played by Rob Paulsen who actually played Raphael in the original 80's TMNT cartoon, and Mikey is played by Greg Cipes best known for the voice of Beast Boy.

First off I liked the 2nd TMNT cartoon. It and one or two other shows where the only things good about the Fox Box/4Kids TV. It followed the comics a bit better than the 80's cartoon did and I liked alien Shredder, which he was in the comics.

Second, I have not seen the new cartoon and I was not saying it was bad. I was just saying that having a reboot be the only thing that people like out of the new shows (a side from one or two shows) does not show promise for the network. Also, I don't like April's redesign. See looks too young.

As a side note, am I the only one who thinks that Greg Cipes is one of those actors who can only do one voice? Other people on this list would be Lara Jill Miller (Kari, Juniper Lee) and Kevin Michael Richardson (Gantu, Shredder)

April has been changed to a teenager in the show, hence why she appears really young in the new show. Weird note, Donatello has a major crush on her so there is that element. Both a creepy thing him being a mutant ninja fighting turtle and her being a human being, but sweet in that it is that whole young love thing. Sooooo yeah.

I started to watch Breadwinners recently, and my god it's so awful I had to shut the television off.

Why Nick thought this was a good idea?
