Fascinating video from the Dutch about MH17. They've dealt as they do best -- "we're not going to shout at you, but you can be sure that we're going to find every single tiny shred of evidence we need before going on Eurotruck Simulator 2016 and delivering a ice-cold factual beatdown."

Vidme.com is shutting down

For all the people asking why there are people who prefer physical media or why would you download videos of any kind when there are streaming services for that: this is why. You never know when said service is going to shut down.

Evergreen State’s student newspaper includes no-whites-allowed opinion section

Interesting. So, what are the odds the POC Talk columns gets shut down following mass internet outrage after an Asian female student leaks emails from the editor explaining her column was rejected because she isn't a real POC and her problems don't reflect real POC problems?

Hell, what are the odds of a (white) edgelord making a "Whitey don't deserve to live in US" satirical piece and then it gets published as something serious? Of course, the original author doens't get any credit.

Don't mind me, I'm just doing some predictions.

Basically, due to years of FDA regulations stretching back to the 1950s, the US gets many of its medical supplies through a very select group of companies. Most of those companies are based in Puerto Rico, since that is US territory but with cheaper wages.

50% of Puerto Rico is still without any form of electricity due to a hurricane nearly 4 months ago.
None of those factories that make IV bags and the like have been able to open up again, and hospitals can't just get supplies from new companies due to those regulations.
Plainly put, US hospitals are going to run out of IV bags. Work on the infrastructure in Puerto Rico so that these factories can open back up and people can get back to work or change the regulations so that US hospitals can buy IV bags again.

In other news, this is why I love the BBC; there’s a scandal about them where a female head of mission that resigns from her post because of pay inequity, and they’re already on the third story about it, stating what she’s done and why, and not hiding from anything.
That’s journalistic integrity right there. Own up to your mistakes and don’t try to ignore it or disparage the accuser.

Rafael Sylva, creator of the iconic and powerful science-fiction radio show, Nuestro Insólito Universo (Our Atonishing Universe), has passed away.

The reason on why I'm bringing this up is because Oscar Perez was killed 4 days ago. Below is some video footage of his last moments alive.

Especially more potent when you can understand what they are saying. Reminded me of people that I know, so it was even more unsettling.
