Finally beat Donkey Kong '94 for the original Game Boy. That took me long enough.

Is it true that it's actually harder than the Super Nintendo version?
Donkey Kong '94 is actually a Mario game where you play as Mario that isn't as well known. It's essentially the true sequel to the original arcade Donkey Kong. If you have ever played the Mario vs. Donkey Kong games, those are actually the sequels to Donkey Kong '94 and play nearly identical. This video is the colorized version from when one played it on the Super Game Boy attachment for the Super Nintendo.

It is a very hard puzzle game to figure out without actually looking up any guides.
Ohhhhh. Didn't even know about that one!
It's worth picking up just to see what they could do with the classic DK gameplay. Also I think this is the first game to have Donkey where a necktie. It's either this or DKC that did it first.
That DK gameboy game came out before Donkey kong Country, so thats the first time we see DK with the iconic DK tie. Donkey Kong Country was released three months after this game.
Wolfenstein: The New Order for the PS4. Holy Shitballs that game was very well written for a game series that started as nothing more than the thing DOOM cloned and let you shoot Natzis with wild abandon. Now it lets you do that but now you have a compelling narrative driving it beyond "Natzis bad, kill Natzis."

Game looks really good too, especially on a PS4 when it can do much more than the PS3. Not a game to play if you don't want to see some really messed up shit because there is a moment here and there and especially at the end during a flashback scene, where the gore goes Saw level in its details.

Still recommend it to anyone who likes Natzi shooting games. And it doesn't have you stand around guns blazing either. It requires cover to be taken else you will die and you can stealth kill too. So different ways to play each area.
I beat lost odyssey this week, great game.

I love Jansen Friedh he is so funny, the soundtrack was great and the first part (the whole CD 1) was incredibly good.
I finally beat XCOM: Enemy Unknown and I really liked it. I did it with minimal save scumming and I only had to use google once. It was really fun, but the ending left me upset.

I'm not gonna lie man. I started laughing because when you said that, I pictured the cosplayer in really bulky xcom armor, with psionic glowing aesthetics, being serious.
Beaten Duke Nukem Forever. Felt like I was given the bird. I was expecting more of an action packed finale before the closure. Now this game is going onto my 'getting rid of stuff for pawn shop' pile.
Finished Sam and Max devils playhouse episode 2. IMO the best episode so far, The first episode was alright but I really liked the reel idea they had in episode 2.
I just beat Metal Gear Solid with my cousin and we'll be moving on to MGS2 now. I'm glad that I managed to get the Meryl ending this time, it's way more satisfying.

Torture must've been a pain in the ass for you?

It was awful, especially because I had to do it successfully twice, which I did not expect. I was in the weirdest position, my entire body was shaking all so I could rhythmically hit that O button and save Meryl.

Worth it.
