Taking a lesson from Gamemaster1991, I ALSO finished Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door today. However, unlike him, I never played it as a kid and this was my first time actually beating it. However, the first Paper Mario was one of my favorite games as a kid and I don't have enough fingers to count how many times I beat it.

It's a more challenging RPG than the first is all I can say. However, I'm just not sure it had the same level of humor as the first game. The first game is much shorter also... but I'm not sure that's a bad thing. I kinda of steam-rolled my way through the game: 20 hours to be exact. The Shadow Queen is indeed a tough battle, but my combined team of Yoshi, Admiral Bobbery and Vivian pulled through (those three specifically since they all have attacks that hit everyone on screen so I could keep destroying the Shadow Queen's hand to stump her attack).
It's a fun game for sure, but I still don't like it as much as the first N64 one. Paper Mario just holds a special spot in my heart.
The Evil Within. Good game. Naff graphics.

I'm going to be the opisate. Out of the three Paper Mario games I've played (haven't played Sticker Star), I would rate them TTYD, Super, and than 64. As much as I liked Paper Mario 64, I can say that it really is not what I'm looking for in a Mario RPG. Super has a better story but really wants to please the platfomers and the RPG players at once and it comes off as gimicy some times. TTYD was great by having a good story as well as fixing up what 64 already had. I really have not played a bad Mario RPG (YET).

I also know that I'm going to get flack for this but Paper Mario 64 is leaps and bounds ahead of "the best RPG of all time," Super Mario RPG.
Here's the deciding factor for me, I guess.
I'm nostalgic about Paper Mario N64 and can beat it entirely on a single lazy Saturday. I can't say that about PM:ATTYD. While it's combat and story should be better in every aspect... I love the humor of the first game. ATTYD just doesn't do as well there. Several chapters really drag on far too long also in ATTYD: I'm looking at you 2,4, and the final chapter. At least Flavio lightened things up some.

In my opinion, the shortness of PM64 is the reson why I don't like it as much. I like the abbilty to saver the story of an RPG without having it to go on forever. The other reson I like TTYD over PM64 is the locations. Each chapter feels like your going into a new story. You go from one setting to another to another, with Mario helping out the people in these storys. I don't really feel that way with 64. I remimber the desert, island, toy box, and final level, but really I felt like I was just going though the beats of a Mario game. To be fair, it was a mario game and that is a big thing it has over TTYD. That game felt like someone had an idea for a Mario fanfic and . By the time I got to Twilight town, I was really tiared of hearing "Wow! Isn't Mario the gretest?". 64 also didn't have a section with a naked (al be it invisible) Peach, which didn't help the feeling. I could also deal without the second part of Twilight Town and the Excess Express, both of witch were too long and too boring.
My only complaint about paper mario 64 was getting lost in the dessert. Other than that. It was a good little challenge changer for Mario. Oh and while we're on the subject of Mario. I just beaten Wario World. But I managed to grab all the treasures and saved those little elf like beings.
I beat Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine on hardest difficulty for the first time. 23 minutes and 5 deaths. Pretty good fit first attempt at that difficulty.
Finally beat The Evil Within last night. That final boss fight was a bit disappointing, but overall the game was really good. A nice addition to the survival horror genre.
Well I just beat 999 on the DS... and it was amazing. Too bad the Zero Escape series didn't get much recongition so the third one is now in development hell.
Metroid Prime: I got every weapon, Missile Expansion, Energy Tank, Power Bomb Expansion, and Log Entry. I got everything....... except for Meta Ridley's log entry. I was so caught up in beating a great game that I completely forgot to scan him. I was so crushed when I found out that I forgot to log him AND saved when I beat him so I could not go back and get him. I'll try for 100% again when I get Metroid Fusion and a link cable.

Time was 10:38 for 98%, if any one was wondering.
Just finished Borderlands The Pre-Sequel as Wilhelm. I have to say the final boss is pretty satisfying. And Jack is still awesome as always.
Finished Bayonetta 2 today, it was ok.

Try this if you have the game! Found it the day after I got the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkP8MuJQ_js !
Okage: Shadow King

After a good 13 years, I finally beat my favorite RPG. The final level (the World Library) is a make or brake it level and I can see why I left it there last time. The final boss makes up for it by being epic but not tough.

So the obscure game ends with the world being put back in place, the real Marlene showing up, and Stan comes back in shadow form. All this is setting up for a sequel that I/we did not get becuse it did not sell well. If a kickstarter comes up for Okage 2, I will dump as much money into as I can. Someone convince Sony to remake the game and make a sequel.
I beat Killer is Dead, very good game.

And Far Cry 4 too.
The Legend of the Dragoon for PS1. First time I played this game it took me so long, the boss was really hard.

Now, 14 years later since I first played it and the thing was so easy. Only once did I die and that was because the boss could instant kill all my guys when they transform into their magic armor which I forgot, so I ended up having to play the thing again, only equipping one guy with an item that keeps him from being instant killed.

After that it was easy and I beat it 30 hrs less than when I did the first time.
