As a species, we have made incredibly effective and horrible ways to torture and kill people. It's no surprise really.
Yeah, we're the species that invented the crucifix, the brass bull, bamboo torture, and E.T. The Video Game.

Really though, for that, it seems that it wouldn't be a bad way to die. It'd be a bad way to live.
Geez. The trivia has gotten a bit dark for some reason. Lets try to lighten up the mood here. Did you know? Mighty Magiswords was created back in 1996 when its creator Kyle Carrozza was still in high-school. It went by two different names, and by two different concepts. First it went under the name 'Legendary Warriors for Hire'

And it went by the name of 'Dungeons and Dayjobs'.

The first pitch for this concept started off as a family friendly cartoon that parodied RPG games, while the second attempt was a more 'adult' satire on fantasy and anime cliches in general. The concept was pitched around to various animation studios around 2005-2007 but no luck. Until Kyle reworked the concept for a third time as a brother and sister co-op adventure show where the warriors collect magical swords. When the show was picked up in 2013 for an online web series. Making Mighty Magiswords Cartoon Network's first online original cartoon.
Ever heard of The Subspace Emissary's Worlds Conquest?

So, what I've just posted may seem like a random fanfic of Super Smash Brothers, well this is one that's very interesting. It's long, and I mean super long, super long to the point that it's the longest piece of literature ever written at 4,024,038 words and 220 chapters.

To be honest, I'd try to get to 10,000,000 words before I finish it, just to make sure no one else can beat it for a while.

The average person reads 300 words per minute.
Rounding up, it would take almost 224 hours to read that, or a total of 9 days 8 hours with no sleep, breaks or change of pace in reading. Wow.
Did you know?
The mask the Joker wears in the begining of The Dark Knight is very similar to the mask that Ceaser Remaro wore in his first apperence as the Joker in the 60's Batman TV Show.

They managed to put an old batman reference in the Dark knight. Son of a bitch.
I once talked about how Toy Story was going to have a different plot. Turns out it was also going to have a diffrent Woody as well. There exists a draft of the movie were Woody was going to be a mean spirted toy that ruled over the toys. There exists a(n unfinished) clip from that draft of the movie know as "the Black Friday Reel."

What blows my mind is that both Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as well as Sergeant Ermey are in the clip so they were really going with this idea before audience reaction to the reel had them change him. For those who have seen Toy Story 3, you'll know that they shelved the idea and reused it for the big bad in that movie.

I also want to add this: Woody had an additional pull string response that we never heard. The reason was because it was cut from the movie all together. This line ("I'd like to join your posse, boys, but first I'm gonna sing a little song")was added to TS3.

Someone worked out the distance it took Rocky to run in the montage during the second film.

It was apparently 30 miles.

I don't think I could even run a mile without having a heart attack so that's pretty damn impressive.
Here one thing that I find really cool. Who Framed Roger Rabbit (which does not have a question mark because Robert Zemeckis thought it didn't look right with one) had it's actors pantomime actons that the cartoons would do to them.To help them act out the sceen, rubber figures were used for plot out movements and sight lines and the voice actors were off screen reading lines. Roger's voice actor,Charles Fleischer, helped out by actting out some of his sceens, but he had a different way of...... getting into character.
There were also robots and puppeteers used, but that's the boring part to talk about (since I can't make it interesting without showing footage of both). If you want to see this or know more, look for a tv special/Youtube video called Secrets of Toontown. It's really intresting how they made Benny the Cab.
^The reason why Roger Rabbit never had a question mark in the title was because there was a myth that was going around in Hollywood that if you put a '?' in a movie title it would fail(based off of experiences that happened to those who have put the question mark in their titles). What's interesting about that is that most of the puppeteering was used for the toons holding the live action items(like the penguins at the ink and paint club holding the trays to Smartass holding a live-action gun) were handled by people who worked for the Jim Henson company(Muppets).

Damn, parents really didn't have to be that concerned about children's safety back then and the Rocky montage in the second film is proof.

30 miles? Damn. I bet that person's legs are gonna be sore for weeks.

Marathons are 26.2 mile runs. I have two co-workers that run them occasionally, so maybe not too sore with proper stretching (he rarely stretched in the movies and when he does, it sucks. Like, he might as well just crack his knuckles and start running).
I'm just saying, dude was on performance enhancing drugs (and the kids were on crack or something. Must have been a last second decision to cut those scenes from the film) or Rocky, Apollo, Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, Tommy Gunn and Young Thug (or whoever that guy was in the most recent film) were all on some Super Saiyan level.
Get a load of this. They just revealed info about 5 planned Friday the 13th films that never got off of the ground. One of them had a crossover with TMNT and Punisher. One that made me curious the most was the planned Jason cartoon that had Paramount approach to Studio Ghibli(Spirited Away, Princess Monokoe).
