I forgot about it, and remembered it today, and I can't seem to bury it, is it because I didn't do it on the day and now I can't bury it?

I buried it the day I got one; I just dug a hole and then there was an option to bury it.

However, now it disappeared from where I buried it, and that animal hasn't brought it up.

You'll be notified by the village to dig it back up. I placed mine in the very top right corner of my town so I know where it is.

So I recently got Animal Crossing: New Leaf when I went on vacation and it's slowly sucking my life away.

I also named my town "Mysidia" and it has a flag based of Firion from Final Fantasy II.

You're not wearing the King Tut mask are you? In Wild World I wore this for like six months and tripped several times a day, never making the connection.
