I actually consider this my favorite 3DS game to be honest.

So I bought it. I was only going to play for an hour this morning seeing as I got chores to do around the house.
It's now 12:30.

Also, yes MexicanAnime, this game REALLY picks up once you can start projects and get development going in the town. But my day is still pretty much the same only now, I spend around 3 hours farming in the Island. :(

Since I have a good majority of the bugs/fish that appear in the day on the Island, I usually just go there at night to catch Beetles as they sell extremely well.

I cut down all of my palm tress but two of them so they regularly spawn without my making them fly away

Oh, and don't bother with any of the regular Brown beetles, they only sell for 1,000 - 2,000 a piece and you'll just end up wasting your time.

That's what I posted at the very bottom of page 8. I've been doing that for a while now to the point I can buy a house, pay it off and buy the next upgrade within the same few minutes.

Also. That guide isn't as useful as I find my method is.
My method:
- Cut all the trees down but a middle tree and 2 palm trees either side.
*(After 6PM you'll want to farm your arse off since that's when the beetles are frequent)
-Completely fill your inventory with beetles, sharks etc
*(All you need is Net and Fishing rod, thus being able to carry more at once)
-Put them in the boat box (next to the area to go back home/go on tour)
-Farm more beetles and sharks
-Put them in the box until it's full etc

Then go back and you'll be making amazing money per trip to the Island Box on the pier.
For example:

Which is then followed by me taking another 2 trips back to the pier to collect the rest of my insects/fish.
Using this method for around 3 hours(sitting on twitch streams/ listening to music etc) you can make insane money. I've bought a house and paid it off as soon as I upgraded and funded 3 full projects in the span of 3 days.

Edit: Try to catch sharks because they're around 15, 000 Bells.

Wow... I haven't played any of the games since the original so I had no idea Nook had kids. Great, now there's three of them running around trying to get money out of me. I wonder if I get behind on payments if Nook sends them out to threaten to break my kneecaps.

The original had Timmy and Tommy as well. You needed to fully upgrade Nook's shop.

It's okay, Hex. They're completely forgettable characters.

I didn't forget them; I just never saw them. Guess I didn't give Nook enough money.
