The Wonder Years. I haven't watched that show since the '90s. For anyone who hasn't watched the series, it's about the life of a 12 year old boy growing up in 1968. Vietnam War, hippies, etc.
I found it on Netflix to the delight of my wife and my younger daughter will even quit playing on her tablet or my Switch to watch it. Yay!
^On a similar, my niece and nephew have found Big Bad Beetleborgs. It was nice to relive one of my childhood shows, but I think I'll stick with Power Rangers and Juukou B-Fighter.
I don't know how he managed it, but my lil' bro got dad to watch One Punch Man. Good stuff.
Daredevil. I'm behind.... I didn't keep up with the comics very well, so I forgot some characters existed. Oops.
I haven't seen Elektra or The Punisher yet, but I'm content with the development of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, especially since I don't know much about him; I do wonder if he has only 4% body fat like in the comics and if he was such a puss behind closed doors. Also, I like that Ben Urich is played by an African-American. This is a little insensitive, but if Scott Glenn dies, I'm comfortable knowing Thomas Haden Church could play Stick, with a little make-up to make him appear older.
I liked Ben Affleck's version of Matt Murdoch, but that's all I liked; this series has me glued and I read that Jon Bernthal is everyone's favorite Punisher and is getting his own series. Heck ya.

Care to explan why you liked that specifically?
^ Oh, I read Wilson Fisk say himself that he was only 4% body fat in a comic short. TV Tropes states that he once said 2%, which is impossible.
As for the Ben Urich being played by an African American, I like the diversity. I mean, too, too many fictional characters are white. I know we have Cyborg and Luke Cage, who was the first "black" comic book protagonist in the Blaxploitation era, and some others, but not enough. I want a black James Bond; Dr. Who is finally getting a female Dr (I've not watched the show); I've only seen Lex Luthor as being white in live action DC films and black in the Superman animated series and it does not change who he is as a villain; Miles Morales is Spiderman now in the comics.
Ben Urich is a supporting character and I do not know of anything that makes his skin have to be white. That makes a change like that easier.
I'm not saying we need to go crazy with changing as many characters as possible, but as new characters come along, change in story lines, etc, different ethnicities should be included.

Yeah, you are right. I actually forgot about that detail about the Kingpin. Dude is supposed to have a powerlifter physique (or so he claims). My bad.

The audiences do not deserve anything if their enjoyment hinges on the skincolour/gender of the character.
I mean, when I'm experiencing a piece of entertaiment media, I focus my atention on the world-building, the core of the characters, the gameplay (if it is a videogame) and so forth. Woulnd't trying to put things as superficial and meaningless as that into the spotlight... I don't know, isn't that exactly what you're
not supposed to do?
In other words: it isn't racist to make everything about race? It isn't sexist to make everything about gender?
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that you are racist/sexist/any other negative connotation, I'm just.... leaving some "food for thought".
EDIT: Now, some of you could argue that sometimes this is a side effect of the "waiting to identify with a a character you like" sindrome. But even them, it doesn't really make sense. I mean, I do not identify myself with characters like Okuyasu Nijimura (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) or any of the GTA IV protagonists yet that doesn't stop me from enjoying them!
But still, are there really people out there who cannot identify with a character unless they are from the same group as them? Are there people out there who are so lacking in empathy that they cannot relate to people outside of thier own group (race, etcnicity, ect)? 'Cuz if that's the case then... Damn!

Sure.

This pretty much proves what many people have been saying: the ones who are most excited about this change do not even watch the show.

Lolwut? Lex Luthor in the DCAU isn't black, just tanned. Just because he has dark skin doesn't mean he's black.

The funny thing about this part of your post is that Miles Morales himself HATES being called "The Black Spiderman". Dude simply wants to be THE Spiderman.
Should really get around to watching Season 3 of Twin Peaks. I was raving about it for a few months in 2015/16, and now I can hardly care less.
I haven't read much about it besides the Twitter account reminding me Season 3 happened. I should really get around to watching it though.
So, has anyone watched the original The Green Hornet show? You know, the version that featured Bruce Lee?
It is any good? It is better than the worthless 2011 film?

I have not, but I don't think it could be worse. IMDB and TV.com give The Green Hornet and Batman (the Adam West series) very similar ratings. If they're similar in style of plots and acting, I think it wound be worth checking out.
I missed out on a lot of good shit on television.
Any recommendations that I can find on the ol'Netflix.
Breaking Bad, The Joy of Painting, The Andy Griffith Show and Animaniacs
I just found out that Garo is coming to Blu-ray over here. I'm kinda surprised since it hasn't had any adaptations state side like Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, and the Metal Hero series have. Not that I'm complaining. It's a great show IMO and I've already put in my preorder.

One Punch Man, Castlevania, I hear Little Witch Academia is pretty good despite the first impression. I think they still have Mystery Science Theater 3000. That if so.
I just saw an ad for a show called Channel Zero on Facebook. I didn't give it much thought, thinking it was another season of American Horror Story. Then I saw the subtitle for it: The No-End House. "No shit? They're making a show based on The Noend House Creepypasta?" I mean it's on SYFY, so no high hopes, but I decided to give it a shot. Also found out that this is going to be season 2, with season 1 being about Candle Cove. With all the Creepypasta channels I'm subscribed to, how have I never heard of this?
