After the roaring success of Citizen Nappa and the Skygina series, Oscar winning director Nappa is trying his hand at a position he’s clearly unfamiliar with – supervillain.

The Hollywood bigshot recently signed a deal with Disney and Marvel Studios to portray Thanos in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War Part 1. He had this to say on the matter:

“Yeah they said they could save a ton on the special effects by just casting me and paining me purple. And how could I pass up those sweet sweet Disney bucks to blow stuff up like the old days?”
The purpose of the second half of the quote is currently unknown.

Nappa also stated that should negotiations go through with Fox Studios, he has put a word in that he knows the perfect “short, hairy, foul tempered” actor to portray Wolverine following Hugh Jackman’s retirement from the character. This is Jimmy Firecracker for Entertainment Weekly.
