Seems I managed to get a bad ending in Persona 4. No extra dungeon or true final boss for me. That really sucks. I didn't know it would happen that way. If I can't just try again from a certain point, I'll just end up watching the endings I missed. At the same time, I'm kind of glad to be done with it. It started to feel like the game was dragging on. I can't remember the last time it took me 60 plus hours to be a game, and I still managed to skip three months and not find out everything. I'm gonna go watch what I messed up and move on.
You have to talk your party down from Spoiler: killing Namatame properly. If you pick all the answers that imply that there is more to the case (they should say something along the lines of "we're missing something") you should be the path to the Good/True Ending. Just remember for the final question you've gotta pick the answer "calm the hell down!/shut the hell up!" (The slash is because it was re-written in Golden.)
I'm aware of that now but it's too late. I didn't know until afterwards and I saved it after that point. No worries though, I can speed run the game in new game plus mode in less than half the time from before.
Woah, you can save after that? In base Persona 4, if you get the bad/neutral ending, the game goes on autopilot. Unless there is an option to save after the credits.

Pretty sure I only saved after the credit. I take back my statement about the game being cut in half though. I started over just after my last post and played for about 2 and half hours and I've already rescued Kanji and am heading towards level 40. I don't see why it should take me even 10 hours to get things done, and I'm focusing on things like club activities and the day care stuff as well so that when I have to slow down, there's something new to see.

You know, speed running this game is easier than I thought. I've only played 15 hours since I restarted and I'm nearly done with September.
Edit: I'm already in November about to get to where I was, I might end up finishing the game properly in about two days, so I wanted to ask to make sure, I can buy P3P on my Vita and play it on it right? I heard that the vita is Backwards compatible with Digital games from the PSP and PS1 but I want to make absolutely sure before I buy the thing. I mean, it only takes a gig and only costs 20 bucks as opposed to almost 40 for a UMD version. Also, I heard the FES content is not P3P version, but does that make the game worse for not having it? This is a guy asking you usually doesn't mind stock games, but if it turns out that it makes a big difference, I may end up getting the PS2 version. I just want to make an educated choice before buying the most accessible version as opposed to the better one, if there's any difference. There's also the option of just playing the P3P version and watching the FES content on youtube.

I've started thinking that I'm talking to myself here, but I finally got the good and true endings all taken care of. I'm honestly a bit sad to be done with the game but I feel like it's one I'll go back to at some point. Persona 4 is incredible and has one of the best stories and some of the best characters I've ever spent time with in an RPG. I'm not only glad I played it, but I'm glad I played it twice in a row like that. It really got me to see a lot of things I didn't see the first time and it made the ending all the better since I got to become even more attached to the characters than I a one time playthrough would have allowed for. Tomorrow I'm picking up Xenoblade Chronicles for my 3DS so I'm glad I beat this game when I did. I have just enough time to reflect and enjoy the ending. I haven't given a game a perfect score in forever, and this isn't exactly what I would call a review, short or otherwise, but Persona 4 is a perfect game. From the mechanics, to the characters, and everything else, I see no flaws worth mention or that the great and amazing parts of the game can't make up for. Now I'm more excited than ever to play Persona 5 and SMT X Fire Emblem because if they even try to match Persona 4 golden, they will be amazing.

I hear that P3P is better then FES in almost every way. It gets rid of/fixes most of the problums that I have with FES (aside from Junpei being as annoying if not more so). It adds control to every party member insted of a list actions they can do. It gives you a new Player Charicter. It adds some new charicters for Social Links (for the girl). I hear it also makes doing side quests and completeing Tartarus much easyer, the later removes the tired sestem which lets you level grind with out your party members leaveing to go home. You have no idea how many times I have level grined The PC by himself becuse YuKari and Junpei were tired and went home.
So if you want to play P3, you might want to download P3P due to it being the much better version.

Sounds like a better deal to me. I can play it on my Vita though if I buy in on PSN can I not?

Yes you can. You actually can get every Persona game on a Vita (as P1, the P2 dualogy, and P3 are on the PSP).
Also he is right. P3P is the best version of P3. You can't move in the over worlds (probably due to the sucky power of the PSP) but there are do many gameplay fixes brought over from P4 (like Guarding, controlling your teammates) and new social links and Personas that it is worth some of the losses. The better balancing and the removal of the dumb as fuck tired/sick mechanic is worth getting it over FES alone. Not to say FES is bad or anything, though.
It is with a heavy heart I have to say I beat Persona 4. I loved the game, and I wish there was more Persona for me to play. I could always try out the Persona 2 dualogy.

I think a little clearity is in order. Part one of Persona 2 (Innocent Sin) is on the PSP but not on the PS due to reasons. Part two (Eternal Punishment) is the other way around. I'm not sure if that matters as I have no clue how the store works, but it might help if your looking for Eternal Punishment on the PSP store and not finding it.

Eternal Punishment was released on the PSP, but the remake never left Japan. The PS1 version is there as a PS1 Classic though. Innocent Sin is on the PSP, but the original never left Japan. They both are on the PSN.

Double-Post, but wanted to say that I've officially started Persona 2: Innocent Sin for the PSP. It sucks to see that there are no Social Links (apparently those didn't start till P3) but I'm looking forward to it.
Also, this is probably my favorite Persona 4 line:

I remember seeing that and was almost to tears already because I was laughing so much already, but that had me put down the game for a bit just yuk it up like a fool because it was perfect.

I swear these games like to take really obvious voice acting short cuts. I just got persona 3 portable and it took all of one like for me realize Dan Woren was playing Shuji Ikutsuki. Also, I guess he's play by Vic Mignogna in P4AU. That's an odd voice change considering how different the two actors sound.

I beat all the stories in P4AU. I actually really, really enjoyed the Adachi DLC, plus he's fun to fight as. That jerk would have a move where he trips his opponent and then laughs at them xD
It also made me actually like Junpei. He annoyed the hell out of me in P3, but he's so darn cute in Ultimax, and my heart just broke when he was dreaming about Chidori!
