Initially we were told the lady didn't want a contingency agreement, but now she's really considering it since it's been really emphasized that I'm a serious buyer and the only real "problem" is that my mom and I want this trailer sold first before we move.
Hopefully these are all good signs because I'm sick of everything coming up Milhouse.
Too much?
How long have you been talking about this house? Well, at lest you can now have a house of your own and a room that you can lock so nobody has to look at your (how did you put it?) "Strange figures."

This is the best use of "coming up Milhouse" I've ever seen.

I know. My point was that we only now got the first season when the series is already on its third.

I'm pleased with myself. I stayed up until about 1AM the other day and I managed to wake up a little after 9AM today. I was afraid I'd sleep until noon again xD

Hey Cuccos. I think I found a way that Patrick should propose to you when he wants to (if he hasn't, I can't remember if he's your boyfriend or fiancé).

Anyone know who did the x and y art for the slider on front page? It looks excellent.

OHYOURGOD I can't wait to get home and show him this! He hasn't officially proposed yet, but we've talked about it quite a bit. We're trying to get all of our personal financial woes in order, which is proving quite difficult in this shitty economy.

Heard back from the house owner today. She seems to be firm at the price it is at now and doesn't want to budge. Truth be told, it would be a done deal if it weren't for the air conditioning issue, but I just can't pay what she wants and install the cooling system as well.
I think I'm just going to say I gave my best offer and ask that she strongly considers it.

So, there are two different types of squirrels in this world...
And Hex, if you have reduced the price at all for this woman, just tell her that "Hey, I reduced the price by X for you, so when you buy the place, you will have the leftover money to do whatever you want to the AC." Any right thinking person shouldn't get a house exactly right, everything will need a little work afterwards.

Bleck. Did I phrase my previous message that poorly? I want to buy from her; the AC issue is on my end.
We're really close in price, and it is the best house I can find, so I'll have to really crunch numbers and try to figure out just how much more money I get with my cooking shifts per year.
She actually did lower the price by about $10,000 since the house was first listed. I just really wish my circumstances were different and the economy was better ><

Yes. I'm sick of this tiny trailer and want to finally live in a nice house. I have enough to afford a decent one, and I'm agonizing over a certain house that will end up a bit out of my range since it needs a good air conditioning system installed. It is the only house out of the lot that I could see myself living in so it's very frustrating.

Very sorry Hex. I'll admit I've been speed reading. I've had a family member reading everything I post/read online today and breathing in my ear while doing so, and it has been quite annoying. SO, I've been speed reading to compensate and not really concentrating.

Oh, no worries! I just have really awkward ways of phrasing things that I've been trying really hard to correct so I automatically assumed I was the issue.
