^ She is just so darn cute and I love how expressive her face is. She really looks like the type of cat that brings a lot of fun and laughter into life.

...I think this might turn into "Hex Won't Shut up About the Damn Pigs".

I don't know if they're used to it, so maybe won't do it again, but my pigs exploded with happiness over this bed I bought them. Iris scared my mom to death because guinea pigs look like they're having an epileptic fit when they're super happy. Iris was flopping all over that bed because she loved it so much.

I have my cat Sophie and my dog, Sugar. Until a week and a half ago, I had another cat named Kitty. Solid black with an attitude of a hellhound. Unfortunately, he passed on. 20 years old. You had a great life, old buddy. I can't remember life without ya, considering you just showed up on the back porch when I was 1 year old. I'll never forget you Kitty.
(He's on the left, if you didn't figure out. Pic is 4-5 years old).

My condolences; many thanks to you and your family for taking him in. It's always heartwarming to hear about folks who are nice enough to take strays in and give them the life they deserve. I'll bet he was an extra amazing cat because of it. It seems like animals that start out with a poor life really understand what you've done for them and return the favor with love and affection.

He like my family, not many other people though. Tried to fight anything that moved. Seen him attack the car multiple times as we pulled into the drive in his younger days. Saw him attempt to stare down a raccoon twice his size. His one ear was scarred and tore in half down to the base from one of his fights. He never meowed, he would just growl (not trying to be funny here, he would GROWL) if he was angry. Only time he would make a noise. He was never content to just lay in your lap, had to sitting on your chest, as if he was trying to stare into your soul.

I swear, with that attitude, he lived to 20. Was a great mouser though.

Sorry to hear that. But a cat living for 20 years is a long time. He had a fantastic life!

One of my friends' dog passed away a few years back. I think she was like 13 or something when she passed. She was a big dog, but was so lovable. I miss her. Now, they have 3 dogs and their oldest dog, Peyton (I think that's the spelling) was around before she passed and almost every single time I see him, he looks so depressed. Poor doggie.

...I'm pretty sure Dahlia just lost a few brain cells.

She's big enough now that, when I open the cage, she'll just jump back inside since she likes it so much. Well, I set her down and she forgot one important thing: The cage door has to be open in order for that to work. She jumped right into the cage door and then just looked up like "I don't understand what happened!".

At least Iris was the runt of the litter so she won't be trying that anytime soon.
