I don't know how guinea pigs understand that biting skin is bad and really hurts, but Scuzzy, Dahlia, and Iris figured it out and never intentionally bit bare skin.

The problem is that they don't understand that skin is under clothing. I once got a nasty nip on the bulls-eye when Scuzzy bit my boob through my shirt and now Iris accidentally took a small chunk out of my arm since my sleeves are thin. I guess it's really my fault since a big indicator that pigs want to go back in the cage is when they mess with your clothes to get your attention.

It doesn't help that throughout your post, there's that gif of the jumpy bitey dog looping :D

We kept some guinea pigs for some neighbours a good few years ago, and they were the same. Wouldn't bite skin, but if your skin was under something else, hoooo boy time to party.

Also, this is the first I hear of a "Scuzzy", is s/he an addition to Iris and Dahlia ?

Scuzzy was my previous guinea pig who died a year ago in October that I loved with all my heart.

Thank you! Funny thing is, that's the way most ladies respond when they see pictures of Scuzzy! Even when I brought him into the vet's (his shitty owners never noticed he had lice) his lady assistant said that right away and pet him every chance she got xD

Ugh. So I hate to be the guy who comes in here and rains on the parade of joy and love, but my cat just died. Like. 34 minutes ago. Long post ensues:

I would've been so tempted to try and adopt this cat if it were near me. I hope he found a good home!: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/28165153

I know. I just hope it's a good one and they didn't just adopt him because he's so unusual.
