I found a solution! I was having a really hard time with Dahlia wanting to get under the blankets, but I threw a crumpled up one into the igloo and she's accepted messing with that instead. I'm really glad... I was worried about her getting trapped under there.

They are adorable! Their noises sound like video game sound affects! And their food looks like alphabet soup. And they didn't run out of the cage when you went to the fridge.

So I had to bring Nola to work today because there's maintenance at the apartment, and..

^ I wish bring your pet to work day was a thing. How'd she like your coworkers?

On one hand I wish I could bring her everywhere, but on the other I know cats hate travel. She hated not being home today. She wasn't bad or anything. Actually, she started the day getting groomed (bathed and nails clipped) at Petco. They said she did GREAT. When that was over the maintenance still wasn't done so I just brought her to work. My coworkers are my family and a few others, so she was already familiar with most of them. I set up a little on-the-go litter box in my office, and brought her blanket and some of her toys and shut the door while I worked. She explored and did really well (after she hid for a little while). I know cats aren't good going from place to place, so I was sure to try and make her comfortable.

For the love of God please do not become a waitress !
I can imagine you hovering round the table with people's food for about 10 minutes saying "You want your spaghetti? Is that what you want? And you; you want your risotto ? Spaghetti and risotto ? Is that what you guys want ? Huh ? You guys want carrots ? You guys want carrots ? For your spaghetti and risotto ?"

This is Nola's reaction to me in a bathtub with the faucet running-

I'll make sure to keep my big obnoxious mouth shut this time, but I have to record how Iris eats treats. I'll place two big slices of cucumber in the food dish, she'll grab one, and then drag it as she runs backwards into the igloo. It's so funny and adorable.

Video isn't quite done uploading as I'm posting this, but I have food in the oven and can't wait until it's done. So, if you're willing to be a little patient, the video is at 80% right now.
