So apparently playing Pokemon Go has given some interesting results. One such being that a dead body was found in the river while playing it.

I've decided that I actually like this game a lot. I went to a Parking lot today where there were three pokestops and wandered the place for about two hours and met a few other players as well. We had a good laugh about walking in between the three area's and catching pokemon, and I managed to capture an Arcanine with a CP of 386 that I've since raised to 512. It's a fun game, but I do still think people are a little bit too excited about it.

It's probably for the better. The wait of the game promises a better launch. I personally haven't had too many issues, but the game did crash while I was catching a pokemon, 4 times. That's not to say I've faced gym battle glitches like no one doing anymore damage, or only your pokemon taking damage, but trust me, if the game's servers took another hit by launching in a place with expected high activity, it wouldn't go well. We'd literally have people from around the world facing more severe issues than those of us who have it already, and that would mean no one would get to play.

I'm enjoying it. I'm using WiFi wherever I can get it until my next billing cycle renews my mobile data. I caught an Eevee, Oddish, two Pidgey's and a Weedle in my office at work.
My sister showed up at work yesterday only to find out that she got her schedule mixed up and didn't have to work. She found a Pikachu on her way home and wound up driving around everywhere trying to find it. I found it funny.

For playing two straight days in a row on nothing but data, I have only used 0.12 GB of data with just this app. So hopefully once your data is back open for use, you will be good to go! (and hopefully they get more servers set up).

Why does Charmander spin though? I'm actually crying about the CGI already, but that spin just sold it. I haven't laughed that hard this month.

Apparently, a man got dumped by his girlfriend after she found that he had caught a Pokémon at an ex-girlfriend's house. HAHAHAHAHA!

I caved in and side loaded German Pokémon Go at about 22h last night.
My girlfriend and I then proceeded to walk an hour around the area trying to find the Pokes, meeting quite a few players along the way ! I'm now the proud owner of a crapton of drowzees, watching local gyms (5 within my screens field of vision) change hands, waiting to become level five so I can invade them all with my army of low level Pokémon. Oh, and there was a Krabby in the bathtub this morning. |
