New Xbox Reveal - May 21st!
#46
Dude, all you have to do is recover your gamertag on his hard drive. It stays there until your friend deletes it.

Yeah, but you can only use one Gamertag on a console. So when you go home, you can't play your home Xbox. You'll have to recover it back to your own system. That's how Xbox is now. The only difference here is that YOU MUST recover your gamertag back in order to play the game once you get back home. Only you don't tie games to Gamertag except with XBLA titles. This benefits no-one.

You can't play 360 games on it.

Except they never said that. And do you realize how stupid that sounds? You have a good size family and all of 'em are gamers. What are you going to do, buy each one of them a One so they can use their own gamertag? Yeah, no. That's not going to happen.

You're being just like one of my friends and is being completely irrational and is jumping straight to conclusions when you don't know everything about it.

Truth be told, I'm getting rather annoyed with some who feel entitled to the system. If you don't like it, just don't buy it. Truth of the matter is that some of those who complain about it now will still buy it, yet complain more. It's all silly.

(No idea what the first paragraph is on about)

Another piece of clarification around playing games at a friend’s house – should you choose to play your game at your friend’s house, there is no fee to play that game while you are signed in to your profile.

You have to bring your Gamertag to a friends house in order to play the game on their system as the game is tied to your account?

Where have I jumped to a cunslooshun and how am I being irrational?

I honestly don't care that the name was bad or the fact it looked like a cable box. (I was just repeating what was said in irc.) But what I was mad about was by the end of the presentation I was so starved for some actual gameplay, and by that I mean a part of a game with you have to pick up a god damn controller and push buttons, that all I got was a couple of seconds with a guy shoots another guy. I'm more annoyed that Microsoft is so dead set on showing stuff I could already do to some degree on my PC. (You know, the thing I'm typing this message on right now.)

As Beware of Choo-Choo Trains said, just give me a thing that can play games.

I made some dudes mad on my facebook posting something about this crap. It's super funny because one guy is defending every little thing for Xbox and it charging money for all that.

and I quote (grammar and all)-
"How so get a job and buy games a system and online gamertag. That's a true gamer. Theres always ways to bootleg shit"

To which I replied-

"A gamer is not measured by the money they put into gaming, but the passion they have for it. EX- me and Zelda."

The Xbox Reveal event was to talk about the xbox. The console. Not the games. E3 is where they are going to talk about the games. That's why they decided to do this so close to E3.

Fine, but you know what would have helped? A freaking live tech demo running on the system.
#57
Yeah, that's something they definitely lacked. I will give you that one.

But with E3 only less than 3 weeks away, I can kind of see why they didn't have a tech demo.
