Just look at how vast space is; we'll never explore all of it. It isn't far fetched at all to believe that life exists on another planet elsewhere. It's just too bad people love to hoax these things, and the government covers them up, so you're not sure just what to believe.

I thought about going on the Area 51 tour while in Vegas, but I guess it's not that great anymore. Since cameras and such exist that let you see from very far distances you can't get as close to it as you used to be able to without getting in trouble. They got angry that folks were getting photos they weren't supposed to.

I always thought Area 51 was just some place where they test out advanced aircrafts that no one has seen and everybody thinks it's alien technology.

I'll treat the idea like god. There is no definitive no until proven with a body.

I like to think that Area 51 is just one huge superbunker where government officials go and have massive LAN parties without getting judged by the voters.

As for aliens, I'm fairly sure that there are some out there. There are just so many planets and places yet to be discovered that there must be something living somewhere.

ALIENS, REAL OR NO?

If Animals, Insects and other beings exist that are not human, I can't really say that Aliens don't exist. We'll probably never see one in real life for a long time because we're still a long way from travelling from Earth past the moon in Space, but it's impossible that we're the only intelligent beings in the Universe.

Wait, who said we were intelligent?

Nah, I'm on the side of "yeah you gotta be bullshitting hard to even say we are alone". We're aliens so I don't see how aliens on other planets are real. We've evolved over time to adapt to this planet and I'm sure other planets have had their evolution chain of events. I really don't understand how it's even possible for us to even be alone on this unimaginable-in-size universe.
I can't see how "aliens" don't exist.

Are we allowed to think of one or does Arjahn come up with the topics?

Sorry guys, I've barely been able to use the forums for 2 weeks because of complications caused by sunglass-wearing chickens, and as for the topic if you guys want to post one then I can use it or something, iunno.

Anyways, new topic, How far is too far when it comes to government surveillance?
Specifically of innocent civilians, what with the whole Verizon whatsit

When you can't be safe from surveillance in your own house or vehicle. Also when you can't call someone for fear of the government knowing about your personal life.

I think it's been too far for years now. At least since they started putting up cameras at red lights. A few years ago, there was a study done that said you're on camera on average 18 times a day. I could only imagine what that is now. Oh, and I have no doubt in my mind they can access/tap into anyones phone/computer/etc at any time.

I'm a huge conspiracy theorist so I was pretty excited to see this one.

I've seen statistics:
That the average Londoner is caught on camera 300 times a day
The UK has 20% of the entire worlds CCTV cameras(which is more than China)
4 million CCTV camera which is around 1 camera for every 14 people
Source 1 Source 2 Source 3

...and it's all bullshit to me.
