I don't collect anything but dust right now. Yeah, I'm lame. If I did start investing time and money in collecting though, I would strive to obtain every console and video game I ever recalled owning as a child since losing most of it over the years. For example, from about 1998 to 2003, I had a modded PlayStation which came with a collection of about 250+ burned games that I now wish to own physical, legal copies of. It would be very rewarding and nostalgic for me to be able to relive some of those childhood experiences.

I'm debating if I want to pre-order a figure or not. I like sexy lady figures, but there's a fine line between sexy and trashy, and I can't decide which side this figure falls on.

A little from column A and a little from column B but I'd say on the trashy side a bit. You pretty much need to ask yourself if it just trashy enough for you to want it or not worth it. Personally I think this is leaning way too into hentai to be honest. Maybe the really pointy nipples on her boobs makes it too trashy. ......and I find it more hilarious that I'm actually looking at this statue and making a real honest critique of the work and not realizing I'm a guy looking at a hyper sexy lady and weighing in on the pros and cons of too trashy or not. Huh.

Fucking perfect. So much for the best display cabinet ever! It was so huge I asked the sales lady if I should take measurements, but she assured me it would be fine. The cabinet wasn't able to go where I wanted it and a wall was badly damaged in the process.
So much for finally displaying my statues ><

Is there another place to put the cabinet so you can make it work or will you just send it back and get another one? I'd say you should be able to get a full refund since the sales rep said it would work after you asked if measurements should be taken. How bad is the damage to the wall?

I have no idea how much more space was need for that cabinet to make it; I stayed out of their way. There is no other place since my mother bought a stupid amount of furniture as well that we don't even need and I freaking hate. I'm getting a full refund, but I'm not shopping there again because the sales rep ending up being such a bitch. After we bought all that stuff we found out she lied about us being able to get our furniture when we wanted it; it was whenever they'd be in the area. The wall is very visibly scraped and it's so bad that there's little holes in some places. Since I didn't sign anything saying they wouldn't be responsible for any damages they have no choice but to pay for it. This was just so draining... I'm super tired now and I hate it.

My suggestion is find a good place to curl up, play a good game or read a good book/manga or even watch a movie. Something to decompress and not think about this for a while. Take a break, a breather. Not saying it will all be okay but you won't be as stressed as you are right now. That way you can better tackle this problem with a clearer head. Hope things work out. *one more internet hug*

I currently own 5 consoles (ps3, wii u, snes, n64 & game cube) and almost all major Nintendo handhelds (game boy, gbc, gba, ds and 3ds) with at least a dozen games for each. My wife also collects Stephen King books so I have that as an honerary collection as well. It's the one series of consoles that I always wished I had. I love a lot of the Sega games that I have been able to play including Sonic and Knuckles (my personal favorite Sonic game.) I will one day have them, just takes some time to get them when you got a child to raise too.

Alrighty, I've got what I consider to be a "rough draft" done of my current display. Some figures will need to be moved around since they look really bad at certain heights. Unfortunately the pictures are not great because I can't open one of the cabinet doors all the way and they both have too much reflection going on. My camera blurs super bad without the flash, so I included a video at the end to hopefully show off the figures better in the one cabinet.

^ Those are really nice display cabinets and that is a crap ton of figures and statues.
Really cool collection (also can see why you would be freaking out if your mom saw some of those figures, xD)

The thing is, I have a lot more naughty stuff ordered now that I think I can get away with it, and plan to order even worse ones. Take this for example: http://myfigurecollection.net/item/167206

If only you could hear how much I'm laughing right now after seeing that. I don't often say this as it sounds weird coming from me so it is probably good I'm typing this, but YOU GO GIRL!

That is one awesome collection Hexadecimal!! I'm pretty jealous. You even have that Tharja figure!! I've been trying to get that one for awhile... but either spend my money on something else or because it is sometimes hard to find.
