Oh yeah I saw that today. Holy shit, was never expecting that there'd be another Fighting Layer or Street Fighter EX. I find this especially interesting now that SFV listed all the EX characters with the new profiles and all, and now there is a new game featuring many of those characters. I do hope they hone the fighting mechanics. At least Arika isn't new to the genre so there's a chance this is going to be sweet. Maybe we'll even get a visiting character from the main SF series?

I'd be surprised if there were no Fighting Layer characters, considering the name. And yeah I know that about the profiles but they are still a thing, and they are considered Street Fighter characters in the games' lore. Since Capcom already did that profile thing (with the whole "copyright by Arika" thing at the bottom) it would be nice if their co-operation would yield at least one or two visiting characters. Visiting characters in fighting games are such a common thing now that I think it'd be a missed opportunity to not throw in at least Ryu or something in a game so closely tied to Street Fighter. Would make a hell of a lot more sense than many other visiting characters we've had in gaming history.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect much more than just capcom characters to be honest, but I'm just glad this is becoming a thing. Always wawnted to mess around in the EX games.

yep. Was more of a Tekken kiddie. Didn't really touch Street Fighter until 4, and even that's been a pretty light touch.
