Santa Clarita Diet - on Netflix

A wife becomes undead and feeds on people. And the few who know have to help her and lead normal-ish lives while trying to figure out what has caused the feast on flesh.

It's rather entertaining and decently comedic.

Decided to get my toes wet and dive head first into the Arrowverse. My first stop is, of course, the first two seasons of Arrow. This was really the only show that I didn't want to watch because I didn't know what to really think of it, and thought I wouldn't like it. However, it would make sense to watch this first so I can watch the entirety of The Flash and Supergirl without being confused.

After 8 episodes, I can say that I'm hooked. It's better then I was expecting. I didn't think that knock off Batman could hold a show by himself, but I glad to be wrong. I think it has something to do with the first season not having super villains (aside from Deadshot and Huntress, but they don't really count) and being more of a Robin Hood story where one person saves the poor from the rich. I do have my problems, but they don't ruin my enjoyment... for the most part (looking at you Huntress). In fact, it may be one of the few shows that I enjoy seeing how far the writers think ahead.

So as of recently I've been binge watching Cobra Kai, the new YoutubeRed series that takes place 30 years after the original Karate Kid films.

You can tell Ralph Macchio still harbors Daniel LaRusso spirit inside of him after all these years..... a Daniel that forgot every lesson in humility by Mr. Miyagi, but still him! The other actors did a good job on their own right, specially William Zabka, who now potrays a broken Jhonny who is trying to face his own demons. Decent action scenes, really good plot, plenty of fanservice for those who watched the original films and a excellent twist make this series a winner.

Looking foward to season 2, which will premiere on 2019.

The first two episodes are available on Youtube for free, however, you must pay for the Youtube Red service if you want to watch the rest of the series (I personally watched episodes 3 and onwards on..... somewhere else).

I hope they make a reference to this on Season 2 of Cobra Kai.

They could bring it up as either a weird dream Daniel had, a crazy bedtime story Daniel told to either Sam or Anthony back in the day OR a rough attemp at writting by Daniel, likely because he wanted to take time from the real world (aka Escapism).
