I like to think that sometimes things like fate does exist. Like something out there was like "This shelter cat is awesome and needs a good home. This Cuccos gal is awesome and will provide a good home." and thus you two found each other.

My Cat. Let me tell you about my cat. I was rolling around in bed this morning trying (and failing) to fall back asleep. I rolled over to where she was laying (she sleeps right next to me now), and the blanket covered about half my face. Well, every morning Nola is right there ready to be petted. So she takes her paw, grabs the blanket with her claws, moves it off my face to check if my hands are there. When she sees they're not there, she carefully puts the blanket back how it was. It took everything in me to hold still (I was pretending to be asleep). She's so damn smart.

It's awesome when pets get to the bonding point where they want to interact with you and do cute things.

I just had a moment like that when I held the girls. I had Iris out on the towels first, and was getting Dahlia out of the cage, when I felt Iris put her paws on me. I just stayed focused on getting Dahlia when Iris decided to just jump on my lap and snuggle. After getting Dahlia out I gave Iris some one-on-one attention for being so sweet, which got her sister jealous, so Dahlia decided to tug on my sleeve.

They've never sat with me so long before. Dahlia laid down and went to sleep while Iris got as close as she could to me and let me put an arm around her. This is why I love guinea pigs; it's rewards like this that make the large food bills and cleaning gross cages worth it.

I can't believe how lazy Dahlia is. Practically every morning when I wake up now I find that she's pulled the hay dish into the igloo so she doesn't have to walk over to it if she wakes up at night and wants a snack.

She's going to get so fat... I really need to let her run around outside the cage more once I'm not so busy.

Both of my girls went into heat at the same time. It's awful right now and they keep trying to hump each other while I hold them and are just constantly shaking their butts.

Sounds like an average night out clubbing.

The girls have decided that when I hold them Dahlia will be a massive hog and lay down so she takes up the entire towel. Iris decided she wants me to hold her, which I love. I tried to capture that moment but guinea pig curiosity ruined it.
