You how there's a thin area on your fingers between your nail and where it's fleshy? Dahlia bit me right there during nail trimming (had to do it sooner than usual since I left her off so lightly last time). That area hurts more to be bit more than anything and I had to blow as hard as I could on her face to make her let go.

As I'm typing this I also realize she did bite my arm hard enough to draw blood. Didn't think to look since the bite really didn't hurt that bad. I really temporarily hate Dahlia when cutting her nails.

EDIT: Forgot to share the cat that came in to my local humane society. His eyes are awesome: https://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/27642022/

That really sucks, hope you are okay and it isn't too bad despite her drawing blood.

That looks like a very handsome kitty. First picture looked like it has stars in them.
Wow. Changed the pigs cage and just came back in from shaking out their towels. They're laying around like they've already had such a big day and are totally exhausted. Lazy little bums.
Well, no getting around it. I have to take a shower and see if things change. My girls have been terrified of me since I got home and have stayed that way for a few hours. I'm pretty sure it's because I have the scent of many different animals on me. If that doesn't work, I have no idea. Maybe they see ghosts or are trying to tell me I'm going to die soon. I dunno.

EDIT: Only slight improvement. I think I gave them PTSD.
Maybe it's not me and something else is up? They didn't even scream for food today and they're both hiding in the igloo. I really don't like this. I'm starting to think something got into the house since Scuzzy acted weird when mice managed to sneak into the trailer.
It was just me. The girls are fine now, but I seriously can't believe that they freaked out that bad. I'll really have to be more considerate of them the next time I visit a zoo if they have a lot of things to pet as well.

So to be clear, they freaked out because they smelled the different animals you had on you? Or something else entirely?

Different animals.
Fair enough. At least you know it isn't either a random thing wandering into your home or you specifically. Just the animal smells that you picked up.

Are they fine now after you've had time to get the different smells out?

Yup. Also helps to bribe them.

They are so cute! I always love the videos.

Thank you! I like to film it when I try out new treats on them to see how they react. This time they took it without any hesitation; those beans were gone in no time.
BUTTS.

It's disgusting, annoying, and yet kind of sweet at the same time. I got not too serious burn on my arm, but it covered a pretty large radius. Iris has been just so concerned about it and licking the area to try and help me; I feel bad when I make her stop because I know her intentions are good. Now the burn is almost healed, but the dead skin is flaking off. Iris is trying to speed that up by yanking it off my arm with her teeth and it really hurts.
