Wait....what?

They're in heat at the same time, which for some reason makes them act like boys. Lots of screaming from both of them as they try to mount each other. There's also pee all over the walls of the cage from them trying to shoot it at each other.

God, now I've got the image of the two weird hybrid hamster creatures from Splice when they were on stage in that cage.

That's pretty much what's happening.

Things are calmer today.
Did you try scented candles? At least then it won't be angry sex.

Bubble bath? Maybe some wine?
Tia won't go to the bathroom for me. Every time I walk her, she won't go. If anyone else walks her, she will. Mmmmkay then. New dog problems.
I finally found a good hay dish for the girls that's too heavy for them to knock over and shove around.

It was at a local pet product store that had a lot of animals there. There was a bird, cat, and the employees dog Eddie behind the counter. Eddie was super friendly and of course I had to give him pets.

There was a cage with lots of kitties who wouldn't keep quiet. There were two black cats allowed to wander the store who I had to pet at the same time or else they got jealous and angry. One of the cats didn't want me to leave and followed me around the rest of the time.

My favorite was a really fat, elderly, half blind cat. He was super sweet and I think I would've totally caved and adopted him if I didn't have the girls. I would play with him all day, give him diet food, and use him as a pillow until he lost enough weight. I hope he gets a good home; he just wanted to be pet and loved forever.

I don't get why people won't adopt animals that have something "off" about them. It's one thing if the problem requires a lot of money a potential adopter can't afford, but otherwise there's really not much a difference between them and "normal" pets.
My dog hates tall people. Everyone in my family is short, and I just had a friend who's about 6 foot 5 pop in quickly. The dog would completely flip out if he stood straight up but then go back to being calm and happy if he stooped down to about 5 foot 6.

She hates tall people. That is all.
Thought I'd share some photos of my old horses.

First off is Blue. He was my first pony. He was... Too pretty. Thus got away with a lot! LOL.
I had him from when I was 14 to when I was about 21... Sold him to a lovely family 9 years ago, and he's still with them :) Most of the pics I have of him are hard copies, so not many on my computer to show you!

Then came along Storm who was the love of my life! I literally can not tell you how much I loved this horse. I had her for 9 years from when I was 19 to 28. She was honestly the best thing that ever happened in my life until I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have her put down due to colic. ;(

Then there was Xavier who I had whilst I had Storm for a couple of years. He was 6 when I got him.. a real baby! But the biggest, most gentle teddy bear of a horse ever. I even let my dad ride him for me once a week! I bought him on a bit of a whim, and sold him 2 years later to fund some travels. He's still in the same home... 5 years later!

AND then ... Sierra! After 6 months of being horseless after losing Storm, I found her. She had only been in the country for 2 weeks, and had barely been handled, let alone ridden. So she was my first 'blank canvas, completely from scratch' horse, and wow. She's got some talent! I'll have had her 2 years next month. :)

Lucy and Zelda were laying down together and I thought I would share. Don't mind the makeup...

Ya know what's really annoying? Having a loving cat while trying to do anything. No Sassy, I need my arm. No Sassy, I can't pet you right now. No Sassy, get off my lap and grabbing my hand. *8 minutes later, pick up 10 pound cat and put it somewhere else, walk back in, close door and repeat when someone opens it.
