“And the legends say that Link got laid that day…”

EDIT: this is based on a panel from the manga “Yotsubato”

The details of this game blow me away every time I see something new. I am super impressed.

Now, where do we find Tingle?

Yep. Beedle is in the game. You encounter him early on. (Sorry for the awful pic from my phone)

I'm going to try my best not to look up anything about this game until I play it within my own hands. Its going to be difficult since everyone's talking about it online.

I'm avoiding as much as I can. I'm looking it thus far.

The voice acting is like nails on a chalkboard for me. It sounds unprofessional and nothing fits anyone except for like one character. Zelda's just sounds really bad to me, the voice just SOUNDS bad. It sounds like Seth Macfarlene doing a woman's voice, as for the original 4 heroes or whatever. The Gerudo sounds totally off, a 7 foot tall muscular woman whose race is based off Middle eastern people shouldn't sound like an american women in her 30's. She sound sound a lot more tough and "rougher". When you talk to ANY Gerudo, they respond with "Saa'vaq" which means Hello, and I swear whoever did THAT voice should've been the voice actor for her.

The Goron has the whole "brawl over brains" voice, but still feels wrong because they've just cast the wrong person for it. His voice should be more deeper and tougher, he looks pretty old so he could've been given the "Tough Master Voice" over the one he was currently given. Sadly, you can't really translate the Goron Squeal into an actual voice.

The Zora sounded about right, that should've been Zelda's voice to be honest, and the Rito they had sounded pretty right to me.

Incidentally, in the small amount of time I had to go home and play BOTW. I played it from 11pm on Sunday until 2pm on Monday in one sitting.

I will send a picture later..
Does anyone know what the little toy windmills are for? I find them everywhere randomly but can't interact with them.

In other news, here are a few shots I took:

I came across one near the Dueling Peaks. I cannot remember what I did to it, but a bunch of balloons started flying around and I had to shoot them with a bow and arrow while they were moving. Maybe I didn't do it in time, because nothing happened (those skeletons came out of the ground and I had to fight them).

I'm trying not to read any spoilers elsewhere and I don't plan on diving into the guide that is supposed to arrive at my house today.

I did find one (probably the one you found) where the balloons popped out as well. You get a seed if you pop them all. But I found 5 more of these things and tried everything to activate something. Including using a leaf on them.

My god this game is incredible. This is exactly what I've wanted from Zelda for such a long time. No Nintendo stuck in their tradition. I've said "Oh that's so cool" so many damn times that I've lost count. I mean, 4 days on and today, I was in a fight with a big and small moblin. The big one picked up the little one and threw him at me.

This game is truly phenomenal. But yeah, as Retrolinkx said, the voice acting is a bit off at times.

I remember getting pissed at the game and then immediately changing my opinion when I noticed that an arrow struck my shield and was in perfect condition, but there was no prompt to take it so I thought "oh wow, that's not going to be used by me" and then when I unequipped it, it was put in my inventory.

You just walk into the windmills to activate them, they lead you to a Kokori that will give you a seed that when given to a certain person outside Kakoriko Village will expand your inventory.

Look under rocks and stuff too, if something is out of place interact with it.

Also, not sure if this is for everything, but west of Tabitha Bridge is a small section that was filled with Moblins on Horses that were firing arrows at me. If you've got 10 minutes and some health items to spare, go there to get free arrows, they'll just circle you and fire, 2 in 3 shots or so would always leave an arrow. I spent around 10 minutes there and got 300 arrows.

If you want to find better stuff by the way, don't follow your objective. Explore like the game wanted you to. Hyrule Castle is accessible right from the start, and if you can beat a few people you can get 25-50 level weapons, and 40-50 level shields.

I explored the whole map and got every map point except for one. It was truly an adventure since I was doing a lot of stuff and found even more stuff to top that. Finding a 50 level sword called the Edge of Duality right at the start due to exploring was great, and then using that sword on a Major Test of Strength Trial (which my brother told me to leave from immediately heh casual) to defeat the boss of that room and then get a level 60 sword was great.

My only real complaint of the game is the climbing. I love the fact I can climb, but I hate how you can't really gauge the distance your stamina bar will deplete in relation to your climbing. I've fucking died many times because I was an inch off the top. Along with this, I really hate their quick travel system. There should be a lot more ways to quick travel. I wouldn't mind it being an item of some sort that's good for one quick travel or something. I've explored huge places and even went off to a damn near impossible to climb mountain only to find something I can't interact with and the only way to get back there is through all the bullshit I went through.

It's a great game nonetheless.

This game might be the downfall of Zelda games. Handheld, they can keep doing what they are doing, but console games? This is what needs to happen now. I can't go back to the older 3D Zelda games. They seem to.... small and... well.. lame.
Don't get me wrong. I love Zelda games, but this is what might need to happen from now on.

I just defeated Ganon.
You have the option to skip the credits. I know I'm not going to

Jerry rigged my Wii U gamepad so I can actually charge it again, so now whenever it's running low I need to wiggle the adapter around for like five god damn minutes and set it upside down facing the third moon of jupiter, all just to play this game.

Good lord was it worth it though.

There are just so many silly interactions in this game and I love it. You can burn beehives down, there's no real reason but I did it and it was everything I ever imagined it could be. Similarly, you can snowboard, sequence break with bomb arrows, find actually cool treasure lying around in moblin camps aside from heart pieces/rupees like in most zelda games, just a ton of stuff.

I love how much it breaks tradition too. There's no waiting ten hours to get the bow in a magical super chest midway through a dungeon designed for it, there's just a moblin hanging around with it and you pry it off his rotting corpse. The mini-dungeons are a lot of fun. the open world really does feel open and, dear lord, the beeping is finally gone

I'm only like five hours in though so I might end up hating it if they pull a Skyward Sword and make me fight the same crappy boss 5 times in a row, dunno. Loving it so far though.
