My setup for playing games is on a table in the living room (which just happens to be in front of my mom's room) so that I don't have to be antisocial to who ever happens to be in the house. I have a TV in my room so I COULD play games in there but I prefer to play them in my normal spot. Last night, I decided to play P3F past the time that my mom went to bed thinking nothing of it. The last thing I did was beat the Hierophant/Lovers bosses. Well for those who have played the game knows that theres this scene that would be very uncomfortable if you saw it with a parent (Spoiler:Yukari in the shower). Guess what part my mom saw when she decided to wake up. Let's just say that I was a little embarrassed.
Now, if you've ever seen any of the stuff I bought at car boot sales back in 2013, you might've seen me buy Silent Hill 3 for £1, but the game wasn't in there. It didn't annoy me since I never expected to play Silent Hill and if I did I thought it'd be the HD collection, but upon finding out that the HD collection is shit I really wanted to play the PS2 version. Unfortunately I couldn't get Silent Hill 3 to work on an emulator, but I did however find a way to make it run on my PC.

Turned out the game is on PC and runs pretty well. You can even download stuff to make it widescreen.

Although for me, knowing my bad luck everything didn't work and I just had to deal with playing the game in 4:3 until I downloaded a FOV slider which potentially made the game run in 16:9 squished to 4:3. All I had to do there was make my monitor stretch the image and lo' and behold it worked.

It looks better on my computer for some reason, but it's still pretty nice in that picture.

My only complaint so far is that the controls don't recognise the 360 triggers as buttons, so nothing can be applied to them, and a lot of buttons can only be applied to one key, so examining something is A, while continuing the sentence is B, and one thing that's pissing me off is that I do anything in the inventory. I have to use my Mouse to choose things.

Oh well, at least I got it working. Hopefully I can finish it this half term.
So, I came across this:

IT'S AN INTERVIEW WITH SMOOTH MCGROOVE!!!
The mission to recruit the bartender in citizens of earth is infuriating. Its a constant quick time event where you have to click rapidly in timed intervals that change as you advance with no indication what they'll be with each advancement. There's a time limit too.
My sister bought Majora's Mask 3D yesterday. I had no idea she even had a 3DS. I am having my sister call her co-worker at this very moment to see if they have any XLs at their store.
They didn't have Majora's Mask, but this is a good start.

Well, my theory of all Silent Hill MC's being retarded is still correct as of Silent Hill 3.

If I remember correctly, it went something like this.

In the first game, Harry Mason opened a pack of Jellybeans like a retard so he could access a key that was inside the jellybean packet.

In the second game, James Sunderland acts quite retarded throughout, but if I were to pinpoint a moment I would have to say the part where he SPOILERS:finds a character in the game, holding a revolver acting incredibly crazy, saying he's just shot some people and if anyone insults him again, they'll die. James then goes on to say that he is a "insane" and is forced to kill him. After this, he is shocked that he's actually killed him, after shooting him hundreds of times.

In the third game, Heather Mason puts Bleach and Detergent in a small bucket to try and make a poisonous gas, right in front of her face with no protection.

Now all I need is for the fourth guy to smash his head on a window like a fly thinking it'll free him and it will explain everything.

Now that you say it, I'm really wondering why the fans like the first 3 games and hate all the rest. Every game has bad characters and bad stories (to my knowledge) which just became more apparent in the later games.

Read the match maker descriptions. They're hilarious.
New Tony Hawk game was announced. Best Valentines day ever 10/10.

Nah, the games are great when you look beyond these things. I just think it's funny to see if the MC being a retard is consistent throughout. The best part of this, is that it explains the gameplay quite well, if the MC's have never used a gun or wooden plank as a weapon before, against things they've never seen and they're most likely retarded. It explains why the gameplay is how it is.

Personally I really enjoyed Homecoming.
Why must I find a game that uses Phoenix Wright? Some missions in The World Ends With You are good enough to give you hints that you may never find out, while others (Day 2, if I remember correctly) are basically talk to someone to figure out that you need to rub the statue......... which I found out 15 minutes ago but it wouldn't let me do it until I talked to the guy. I'd also like to point out that that the partner system is nice to have........ if Shiki was not a dumb ass and move to avoid the boss of Day 5 (who gives you the ability to restart battles, which I could have used curing the battle.)

That being said, the game is a big improvement over P3F. I enjoy the combat more, the little story that I have I'm enjoying, and it did something that P3F didn't do, made me care for my lest favorite character before the half way point of the game. Shiki has gone from the annoying stalker I thought she was to my favorite character this is before meeting Joshua, who I hear is really the best character). All P3F did was make Junpei unlikeable and hit too close to home for me. I wouldn't call this the best RPG ever (the first paragraph is only 3 things I don't like), but it is fun and I want more people to play it so I can talk about it more without spoiling it,

I still haven't got around to playing The World End with You, I hear it's good but I still haven't got enough time to emulate it on a DS, same with Virtues Last Reward, 999, Hotel Dusk and Another Code. The latter being something I did own and probably still do but I couldn't play it was a kid.

Anyhow, from around 11pm to 4:30ish am I went from Chapter 8 to Chapter 11 in Yakuza and finished the Snowtemple of Majora's Mask 3D, so not bad. Now I just need to make myself get through Silent Hill 3.
