EDIT - So you can essentially run around with your friends, exploring the world. No combat or missions or anything. But it already looks like great fun.

So, I woke up at around 10pm yesterday and I'm still up. Most of the time I was playing The Last of Us. I think I started playing it at around 7am and didn't stop until well, a few minutes ago.

Finally completed it on Grounded+, but I didn't get all the trophies so I just redid the game on Easy+ from the start until late mid game which was actually hilarious due to how easy it was. Grounded barely gave you anything, yet Easy basically turns you into the Terminator. You take no damage when shot, have so much stuff you never run out of ammo or equipment and in general, the game becomes so stupidly simple I do not know who would pick such an option.

Finally finished The Last of Us multiplayer, and got the final two trophies to Platinum it.

First game too.

So, got past chapter 12 in Valkyria Chronicles but forgot to save so now I have to go through the feels trip that was 11 again.

I have found the pinnacle of early 2000s video technology.

I've had my 3DS in bubble wrap, in peanuts, in a box for a week now. I wish I'd remember to UPS it to Nintendo. Geez.

Holy Shit, Arkham Knight got something so amazingly right I love it to bits.

Halfway through the game, enemies start using a device that tracks you when you use Detective Vision. It's meant to make the predator parts much more difficult as you only get about 10 seconds to evaluate the area before you're detected. One person usually holds the device that detects you.

Anyhow, since you're the Batman you gotta do Batman things, and one thing I wanted to do was leave that guy till last and use detective vision and see what happened when he detects me....when I'm directly behind him.

I thought he would just turn around and say "IT'S THE BAT" and shoot me, but I was surprised and laughed when the bad guy was like "I'VE FOUND THE BAT HE'S....OH NO....OH GOD NO...." and he turns around and see Batman right behind him.

It's a great little touch that really gives the game the feeling of just being Batman.

I somehow did it.

I beat one of the hardest stages of a Hard KMS run of God Hand.

I lucked out on the fight, but fuck me. I'm getting there.

So, Speed Stuff 4 Charity speedrunning marathon is currently ongoing. I ran Trackmania Wii for it. I completed all platform challenges in 36 minutes and 10 seconds, faster than the old world record by 3 seconds. The cool thing is that I improved WR in a marathon.
