Not that I mind, I love both franchises.

I really like the mega evo's for gen 1 starters. They did a good job with them, however the direct itself wasn't really interesting beyond that since so many people were expecting a way to transfer pokes from old games. I don't see a point in collecting 3000 pokemon either so I probably won't be using the bank or the poke transfer. Also those 3DS XL's aren't really my cup of tea. Something about them seems off-putting.

We were told about an online storage box called the pokemon bank, which pokemon can be transferred to. This bank holds up to 3000 pokemon. If you want to get pokemon from Black and white, or black and white 2, you can use something called poke transporter which will allow to put them in the pokemon bank. They also announced mega evo's for the Kanto starters, one of which you will be able to get from the game's professor in the town with the Eiffel Tower structure in it. They also showed off a new 3DS which comes in X and Y's blue and red colors and has the two main legends on it.

He has canons on his fucking arms which he can use to blast enemies away. My inner child is escaping and jumping like crazy over that.

It's useful if you want to start a new game but save some of you Pokémon.

It is, but I have friends getting the game as well so If I ever want to restart they will hold the ones I want to save, as I would for them. Plus it's only going to be free for a short while and then you have to pay for it in whatever amount per year. I suppose to that there may eventually be reason to do it because it seems this system isn't going away but I still don't see a major reason for it. At least not for my sake.

I can't remember if anyone has asked this yet, but what are your favorite Pokemon?
My favorites tend to be Fire or Electric type Pokemon. A few of my favorites are Cyndaquil-Typhlosion, Raikou, Entei, Electabuzz, Gastly-Gengar, and Spheal-Walrein.
