When I was a kid, I didn't know about the whole poisoned pokemon getting hurt when you walk thing and I thought it was a really weird glitch because the screen went crazy so I turned off the gameboy but I forgot to save and lost a lot of progress. Now, every time my pokemon gets hurt while I'm walking, I remember that day.

^That's a childhood trauma right there.

I think the only game I ever did that with was dot hack infection the first time I went to an infected area. I thought my whole system was bugging out.

So I didn't know that the long pink thing on Froakie's final evolution was a tongue, and now I can't unsee it.
