Still excite. If the rumors about an Emerald remake are true, I'll get that for a random Nuzlocke.

So I got bored and decided to do a solo run on emerald...with Wobbuffet. You know, the Pokemon that wont to anything unless you do something to it first. Its moveset might make things very difficult. Especially when you're going up against a Seedot with Growth, Bide, and Harden.

I don't think I've expressed just how much I love the design of Mega Sableye.

So I was playing Pokemon Y and I was trying to find the Pokemon Fan Club in Laverre City and ended up going in the wrong house and talked to a man that said "I'm Gaddy! I have a scintillating story for you! Would you like to hear my story?"

This instantly reminded me of Giddy, the man from Pokemon R/S/E who's in the Mauville City Pokemon Center and says the exact same thing. Then I talked to a little girl who was also in that house and she said "My dad's older brother--that's my uncle, you know--lives in the Hoenn Region."

I thought that was pretty cool. So cool that I had to make a post about it.

Mega Metagross has been confirmed.

I'm partially disappointed than he doesn't become a helicopter but this is awesome.

That asshole of a Pokémon is getting even stronger? Oh maaaaan, I hated fighting against the regular one Steven threw at me and now this...

My girlfriend just called me a "pathetic Pokemon geek." I tried being funny by correcting her saying "The correct term is Pokemon Master." She wasn't amused.

My Wobbuffet solo run is going very slow. It sucks when I constantly fail to predict what the other trainer is going to use so I can Counter/Mirror Coat it, but does feel rewarding when I take out a Pokemon that way. I find it easier just using Struggle and buying a crapload of Hyper Potions.

Apparently the big thing is, is that's getting way faster. Something like it's base speed being 100. That gives it a good shot at overpowering, walling and outspeeding a good amount of it's natural foes.

Yep. My heart skipped a beat when I heard about the speed thing. It being stronger and sturdier than most other pokemon wasn't enough, now it can outspeed a good amount of them as well.

Seriously, why aren't the pokemon that ACTUALLY need some buffing getting mega evos?

Hopefully we'll get lucky and something like Zangoose and will get a mega. Metagross will probably end up banned anyways, but should make for a good final enemy in the Elite 4.
