There was an announcement a few days ago relating to Pokemon.
The announcement was the giveaway website. I (and I'm sure many others) we expecting news about X and Y but it was some bad Pokemon auto-tune song.

I'm so out of loop with Pokémon that I only knew what half of those are.

And I used to know all of them by name... Then came the 4th generation.

I can relate. I can still tell you what the pokemon is by ether seeing it or hearing the name. This goes up to Gen 3. Gen 4 I'm a little fuzzy on but I can still do a few of them. I have no idea who these new pokemon are.

...now Generation 6 in 2 weeks.

Even though I still like Pokemon games, I have many moments where I just think "Oh yeah, that Pokemon exists and was in that Gen".
