Bought and started playing Pokémon Y yesterday. I'm really liking this one and it's all so new to me, considering the last game I played was Ruby, unless you count Soul Silver.

I'm pretty hyped though. I managed to the OR:AS Demo and DAAAAAAAAAMN it's good. So freaking nostalgic. The music is incredible too. Ah, cannot wait. Better than X and Y already. 

Wow Metagross has total stats of 700. Not to far away from the biggest ever for a normal Pokemon, Arceus with 720. As for Steelix, I think its around 600. Also, those stats for Steelix's defense is intense.

Arceus is a legendary, though. And practically the God of all Pokémon. I think those stats for him shouldn't count for "normal" Pokémon :P

Btw. I still think Mega Metagross is complete BS.

I can tell already Mega Metagross is something tons of people will carry around. I hope when a update comes around, they'll nerf him.

Honestly, the regular Metagross is way OP as it is.

I can tell already Mega Metagross is something tons of people will carry around. I hope when a update comes around, they'll nerf him.

It's more likely that Megametagross will just get banned so they won't even bother. Not only are both of it's attack and defense stats really high, but it's speed allows it to go ahead of just about everything that can take it down. It isn't going to hold in tournaments being that OP and at the same time, people will cry foul if it's nerfed since mega evolution is supposed to give that much of a base stat increase.  

I hope we get a mega yanmega.

Which begs the question, was this mega evolution even necessary? There are lots of pokemon who would actually benefit from a mega evolution and Metagross definitely isn't one of them.

I ain't buying either of these games but I can only assume the battle against Steven is going to be the worst ever.
