So, how 'bout them Mega Evolution legendaries? Pretty crazy primal stuff. Would be really cool if they used Primal Dialga from Mystery Dungeon in there too, even if the original was a palette swap.

I always go by VGC rules. I stay away from Smogon to avoid the whole "Oh you're using Ubers" BS that comes up. Still. It means Mega'Khan and Mega'Ger aren't banned then.
Do primals count as megas, though? I think it's its own thing, like formes.
I think they do. That's what they've been compared to at least.
But the Primal evolution doesn't seem to require a Mega Stone, thus it's not a Mega evolution.

According to Bulbapedia it's called Primal Reversion.

In the Anime we had a Primal Pikachu [Image: 1CPX1Hw.jpg]
Interesting. It could be like mega evos but with an item afterwards.
Why does it have to be like a mega evolution? It doesn't even seem to be affected by the stage of evolution, unlike mega evolution in which the pokemon evolving has to be the final natural evolution.
That's true. I'm just going off of assumptions here.

Unless it's like how Kyurem, Giratina, The genies etc work. You don't give them an item to hold, but instead use an item outside of a Pokemon battle change their forms (sometimes written as Formes). I'd suspect the same as Kyogre and Groudon.

Isn't that a digimon?

Yep, that's Gatomon. I think it was witty to use a digimon posing as a pokemon in the place of Mulan, posing as a man.
