There is a joke here in the Houston area that goes "If you don't like the weather, just wait 20 minutes." Our weather will do what it wants, when it wants.
We were having cool fronts in April, and now thunderstorms in May.
We've been in a serious drought the last couple of years. Not anymore.
I've been extremely bundled up on some Christmases, and I've worn shorts and tank tops on some Christmases.
We have days that are so hot, it's in the triple digits. Then that same night, it's cool enough to wear a jacket.
Areas all over Houston are flooded right now. Downtown has gotten it pretty bad, and so had my side of town.

Also, my friend saved a lady from drowning the other night.

I haven't been targeted yet, but you can see it eyeing you up as you walk past.

So.... Donald Trump announced that he is now running for POTUS. Interesting.

If Trump becomes president, I'm moving to mars.

Eh, I'm not trying to get political or anything. I think he should be mayor of New York first, then maybe go for bigger goals. 
As for moving to Mars, you're the space cow. I like to keep my feet on the grass.

Due to the Charleston Shooter,  the confederate flag is being banned from being sold at Wal-Mart, Sears, E-Bay, and Amazon.


To clarify, we are banning the sell of a HISTORICAL flag that people DIED FOR just because some stupid raciest asshole had one in his pictures. WE ARE GETTING RID OF THINGS THAT ARE RACIST JUST BECAUSE BECAUSE.



This is the reason the rest of the world hates us. I hate us.

I don't like the flag, but I wouldn't go crazy just to ban it if it means something to history. People seem to forget about the history of what that flag was. Just because a racist asshole had it with him right before he killed those people. Now they're trying to remove the flag digitally from all media(like the Dukes of Hazzard's car) just because of this racist prick.

I'm getting sick of all this race related stuff. Most people don't even know that it's not the complete Confederate flag, but part of it. They taught us in school that the Civil War was all about slavery, when it was more about the northern states aggressively pushing their agendas on states They purposely omitted that A BLACK MAN OWNED THE FIRST SLAVE. I can go on and on and on.
And now, my governor wants to remove the bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest from the state capitol over all of this. Most people in my own state only know First as having become "Grand Wizard" in the Ku Klux Klan. I know Forrest is no saint, but he is a decorated individual in the military and he gave a speech to a large group of "blacks" about friendship between races and accepted flowers from a black woman. I know Wikipedia isn't always the best source for information, but it's quick, easy and accessible. Too lazy to read.
Oh, and I think the bust of Forrest should be moved, not removed completely. Idiots.
