I can't think of anything else to say than a massive LOL

After all that "we'll take this all the way and nuke you" rhetoric.

The last person born in the 19th century has passed away.
The world is now only populated by people born in 1900 or after.

The ruling Conservatives have called a snap election on June 8th. A clever move from them -- Labour is a mess whose votes will split with the Liberal Democrats, giving the Tories a stronger majority.

That is unless the Lib Dems can somehow rally the pro-EU Brits.

Protests all over the country have been happening in Venezuela for three weeks (they took place in the capital city of Caracas during the first week, by the second week the protests became nationwide phenomenon). Today, April 19th (the day where Venezuela started fighting for it's independence. The proper Independece day is on July 5), the "mother of all protests" took place, where both pro-goverment people and the opposition took the streets; another massive protest is going to take place tomorrow.

Controversial removal of Confederate monuments starts in New Orleans

*sigh*

The Confederate States of America, and everything which it entailed, is a portion of the nation's history. A sad part, yes, but part of it nonetheless. Removing these monuments is, in some ways, censoring the history of the US, a part of the US so significant that the Americans held a civil war over it.

"B-but those confederates were a bunch of white supremacists, just like the Nazis!!"

Funny you brought that up because it's a great example. There are still concentration camps up that you can go and visit for yourself so you can see where the atrocities happened. It's a piece of history and taking it down isn't the right thing to do.

I'm not having a conversation with myself. I just wanted to answer a counterpoint that people might bring up.
