To me, WiFi already sounds like teleporting information, but this isn't waves, this is info that disappears and reappears elsewhere !

Damn straight, and it's absolutely amazing. One day, I plan on cycling over a month or so along the trail with camping gear.
Imagine if they did the same throughout the USA and linked the two trails together ?! That would be so much fun.
